Inspired by the philosophy of “Jugendstil“, the Art Noveau in architecture, art, music, and the artistic way of life of the 1890’s, YOUNEE had felt the need of combining the intrinsic beauty of miscellaneous music styles in order to create her very own style.

All this is done with the aim of approaching more closely the modern attitude towards life of the people of today. Sensitively, she has taken famous works of classical music and reanimated and interpreted them in her most original fashion, her impressive talent for improvisation proving how modern classical music may sound today without losing any of the beauty of its very art.

With her awesome playing technique and passion, YOUNEE pledges her love of the old masters such as Bach, Dvorak, Debussy, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff combining classical themes with jazz, pop, or even rock elements and blending them into a fascinating cocktail of all musical genres.

In the tradition of great composers, YOUNEE belongs to the few classical pianists who create their own “cadenza”, constantly improvising and thereby taking their listeners on a musical journey of artistic renewal ... entirely in the vein of the philosophy of Art Nouveau, of “Jugendstil”.
