They are like antennae connected by energy channels and affect our consciousness, but also our psychological and physical well-being. The Third Eye, better known as the 'Inner Eye', is also called the Crown Eye or the Forehead Eye. It is the sixth of the seven chakras and is said to strengthen the capacity for insight and intuition in the art of yoga and in Hinduism. Thus, it functions as a connection between the mind and the soul.
