The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) and this rāga comes from this deep digger, he is truly passionate about the music and we respect that so much please welcome @mihalis-stamboulis

Born in Thessaloniki, Macedonia Greece, back at 1978, It was the love for the music which led to get involved with the buzzing scene of electronic music, mainly organizing events, club nights and festivals.
The journey started with the main focus on the Psy Trance genre, moving on to Proggressive House and for a long time now, a wide spectrum of electronic music styles, with influences from East and West,deep ethnic origin sounds that trancent the vibes of humanity and nature.

SKYMAN 1882

Bio:

SKYMAN 1882 (aka Simon H) has been immersed in music, DJ & club culture for over 3 decades. 
A child of early house & techno, inspired by the sounds & DJ’s  of Outer Limits, then later Global Underground.
At the start of the Millennium he moved to Asia where his mantra of “play it as you feel it” established his emotive playing style, combining harmonies with layers of darker edged sounds, woven with landscaped melodies and occasional vocal moments to create  journeys of escapism. 
With an imaginative connection to music his creative aural sculptures are crafted to introduce the audience to new sounds and experiences of enlightenment.
He has played many clubs  & venues across SE Asia including the Boracay Music Festival, Philippines and now having relocated back to the UK is a resident DJ for Progressive Heaven (www.gammawave.club) with his monthly two hour Frameworks show.

The ever artful and innovative Configurations of Self label returns with a new EP from founder Alexander Church and frequent guest artist, Jody Barr. The last couple of decades have seen Church emerge as one of techno’s most interesting sound designers, groove makers and synth wizards. From melodic soundscapes to industrial techno under a range of aliases he can do it all, and often with a deep thinking perspective that adds real depth to the music. Barr, meanwhile, last appeared on the label when remixing back in June. He has also landed on Krankbrother and Nofitstate, runs his own Portable Minds, and is also a close member of Sasha’s Last Night on Earth family. His hardware-centric sound is always rugged and real.
Our pick up here was Jody Barr who offers 'Collusion', a darker track with acid gurgles underpinning the icy hi hats. It's deep techno for the dead of the night and is hugely atmospheric.

Rift Vision 001 is producer and stay-at-home-DJ Lauren Ritter’s latest record & debut on her very own new label, Rift Vision. 

The album acts as vanguard of Rift Vision’s aesthetic: liminal, subconscious, and ultimately, synesthetic. At the outset, it’s apparent that Ritter has traded in the 'cool' of her minimal dance music performances for deeply personal, dream-like compositions. Live instruments, spoken word (Tenesha the Wordsmith), and melodies written on Ritter’s modest collection of synthesizers are hallmarks of each bespokenly-titled track. 

'Thirst Trap' is the first single off Rift Vision 001. The track features Tenesha the Wordsmith’s (Peacocks and Other Savage Beasts, Dangerous Women) confessional-voiced poetry over teeming layers of electronic melodies, organic textures, and vaporous rhythms. The track’s intimacy borders on taboo; indeed it may give the feeling that the track ought to be shut off. But as Tenesha instructs with her opening lyric: 'keep watching'....

The uplifting groover 'Quartz' is our feature premiere and really brings up the mood with its light fluttering synth waves & well crafted percussive simplicity. 

While it’s not hard to imagine hearing any of Rift Vision 001’s tracks on the dance floor, it is hard to imagine why Ritter waited so long to release music like this!

Kurt Kjergaard comes from the high north of Germany and is currently resident DJ at Datatransmission Radio. Its versatility is impressive: from techno to progressive to tech house, he has everything under control. Indeed, this diversity is evident in Kurt’s original releases (Cocuna Records) as well as in his popular podcasts Outside the Box and Beach Podcast.
Kurt Kjergaard is the owner and founder of the well-known podcast series Beach Podcast on Soundcloud, where weekly DJ mixes from all over the world can be heard, from well-known DJs to newcomers.
Kurt Kjergaard started djing in the 90s and has played in various clubs in his city. He produces himself and has already made remixes for other artists. He is under contract with the record label Cocuná Records, but he has already released tracks on many other labels.
His mix series Outside The Box is one of the most played mixes at the moment !!! In March there will be a new mix series with the name “Renaissance” so look forward to it.

I Was Introduced To #Techno In 1988 By A Friend That Called Me From Chicago And He Told Me A Guy Was Mixing 2 Songs At The Same Time On Two Turntables. He Was At A Party In The Basement And I Didn't Believe Him, So He Pointed The Phone Toward The Speaker And Let Me Hear For Myself. A Different Friend In Florida Introduced Me To Tampa's Rave Scene And I Fell In Love With The Atmosphere And People And Music, Such As #HouseMusic #BreakBeat, #TechHouse #Jungle #DnB & #Trance Then I Wanted To Produce Around '95 - '98, But That Never Happened.
