I've been spending some time writing string sections and orchestral pieces while snowed in under the Arctic blanket in the UK. 

I'm using an Alesis Photon X25 to trigger the individual string notes and allowing myself to let my exposure to melody for the last 20+ years be in control with little conscious guidance. Once the 'mood' is ignited, I then spend some time writing accompaniments.

The strings you hear are Violins, Violas, Cellos, and some orchestral percussion. Two of the three recordings are poorer quality than the third as I've been working from a loop and have not yet placed the track in its entirety. I shall be developing these over the next week.
