Time, Love, Dreams and Death - all four chapters have been unveiled. Now begins the true End of an Empire. 

After a year long production cycle, Celldweller has been slowly revealing bits and pieces of his third full length, studio artist album, which showcases a return to the more formative complex electronic and heavy metal elements that defined the unique hybrid that is Celldweller. Never one to rest on his laurels, Klayton raises the bar with a brand new level of production unheard of by most producers, fusing analog and digital to create something completely out of this world. 

From tracks like “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)” which sound like something straight out of a neo-futuristic punk rock dive bar, to the soft and somber “Just Like You” that swells with acoustic guitars, modular synths and melodic vocals into an epic cinematic ballad. Every track brings something completely unique yet distinctly Celldweller to the table. Equal parts score and soundtrack to a science fiction movie that hasn’t been created yet, this album delivers an unparalleled experience that transports each listener to their own little world inhabited by all of the iconic characters presented throughout the chapter cycle leading up to the release of the final album.

Celldweller and Star Wars finally collide with Klayton’s take on the famed “Imperial March.” Through all unique instrumentation and vocal work, Celldweller dives deep into the dark side with his aggressive and explosive take on this famous film movement.

“Star Wars had a huge impact on me as a child. This, as well as science fiction as a whole, has clearly influenced my look and sound — so covering The Imperial March was a natural fit,” Klayton said.

The inspiration for the cover is an ode to a film series that has shaped both Celldweller’s music and artistic influences throughout his career — climaxing with the most powerful cover of the song to date.

The Lucky One

Scandroid, the modern Synthwave project from Detroit based artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, is Klayton’s love letter to the 80s. 

The debut, self-titled album features 15 tracks, ranging from the driving instrumental energy of "Destination Unknown," to melodic vocal tracks like "Awakening With You," "Aphelion," and "Neo-Tokyo," rounded out with the cinematic epics "2517" & "Singularity." As a child of the 80s, Klayton has also included a cover of the classic Tears For Fears song "Shout," that he has been patiently waiting to cover since he first heard the song on U.S. radio in 1985. The digital album concludes with a bonus remix from synthwave artist Waveshaper. The 72 minute album depicts themes of a cyberpunk future where humans and sentient robots struggle to find a connection in their dystopian world.

The Blackstar isn't finished yet with it's interstellar voyage. It remains in a mysterious orbit, exerting its influence on space and time, transforming all it touches.

The Space & Time EP includes new evolutions of songs from Celldweller's monumental Wish Upon A Blackstar album. The drumstep/metalstep monster "Unshakeable" has been morphed by Klayton himself into a dark slice of Drum & Bass with sinister growls of bass writhing beneath a steady rhythm. Under the watchful eye of Tim Ismag (courtesy of Play Me and Rottun Recordings), "Tough Guy" is turned on its head, revealing new facets of the electro and moombahcore energies that pulse within. "Gift For You", once a sultry, brooding piece of bass atmosphere, now finds itself injected with an adrenaline shot of drumstep courtesy of Pendulum and Destroid drummer KJ Sawka. "Louder Than Words" is rebooted with an infusion of dubstep at the hand of rising star Varien, most recently known for his appearance on Skrillex's Bangarang EP. Rounding out the EP is the original album mix of "Unshakeable".
