California's Wolvero makes his Play Records debut with Midnight EP, a dark, melodic collection of deep house, bass house, and electro house tracks. Wolvero's love for unique textures, smooth melodic breaks, and hard-hitting bass lines is on full display on Midnight EP. 'My previous works relied heavily on high frequency synths and pads to keep the energy high,' says Wolvero. 'With these, my goal was to create a deep texture to the breaks by adding dark atmospheres layered with suspenseful chords.' Akin to such artists as Drezo, Tchami, and Malaa, Wolvero's efforts here are both alluring and enduring, balancing tension and release with beautiful melodies and dark bass sections. Included in the EP is a remix of the title track, Midnight, by Las Vegas wunderkind JackEL.
