Small Goodbyes

Inspired by the need to express himself as a singular voice comes this personal project from Lima, Peru.

Honest and simple, conveys heartfelt and meaningful thoughts about what it is to grow feeling left out and lost in the world.

Formed in 2012 by Peruvian composer and singer Rodolfo Caceres, the project has just released their debut album; recorded and produced by Giovanni Rossi (Laguna Pai, Las Amigas De Nadie), Mixed by the legendary Tim Palmer (Pearl Jam, U2, INXS, Robert Plant, Quiet Company, etc.) and Mastered by world renowned engineer Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Fiona Apple, The Strokes, The Killers, Soundgarden, Arctic Monkeys, etc.) 

Wolves As Friends released 2 songs in early 2012 and reached the Finals and Semi-Finals of several international competitions such as UK SONGWRITING CONTEST, INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION and UNSIGNED ONLY MUSIC COMPETITION with more than one song from their debut album. Becoming one of the most anticipated new artists coming out from the Peruvian music scene. 

The project had a first approach to the North American market in early 2013 with a Promo-Tour for their debut Album, where they did 5 shows in NYC (The Living Room, Rockwood Music Hall, etc.), took part of the SXSW conferences in Austin, TX and also were invited to take part of the CANADIAN MUSIC FEST’s Official line-up that took place in Toronto this past March where they played 3 shows, opening for such acts like Marcus Foster and many more. 

The band is also starting to have radio exposure in the US with their album in more tan 20 college-radio stations and expanding to commercial radio.

Wolves As Friends is currently promoting their debut album with great results within South and North American region. 
Also, they have just released the Official Video of their first single ‘Slip Away’, directed by Andres Bretel and entering pre-production for their next one. 

Beyond perfection this young project is founded in expressing themselves without apologies or censure, but at the same time trying to connect at the deepest and more essential level.
