Hanble Sapa

The Wolves of Škáŋ; Blackened Pandemonic Metal of Death from the Underground.

Škáŋ was founded November 11th of 2011, in Austin Texas, beginning as the individual endeavor of the founding member, Joseph Merino. Škáŋ offered its' first release, "The Old King", November 11th of 2013, following the first formation of Škáŋ as an live entity on November 2nd 2013; by Merino and the first members Daniel Alvarez, William Ables, and David Baxter.

From it’s beginning (live), Škáŋ is known as a formidable force, performing with long standing acts such as Danzig, Portal, Voivod, Neurosis, and more; appearing at music festivals and selected cities throughout Texas and the Mid-west. 

In 2015, Ron van Herpen and Rob Zim entered Škáŋ after performing as guests  artists during an exclusive European performance in London U.K. (with Saturnalia Temple & Cult of Fire, thus completing the formation of the pandemonic expression of Škáŋ. On March 11 2016, the prestigious Ván Records (Germany) released Škáŋ; Part I & II of the 4 part EP Box Set; each part limited to 100 vinyl pressings.

On April 13th of 2018, Ván Records presented the full length debut of Škáŋ entitled, "Death Crown", limited to 100 12" vinyls as the "Black Edition", and 200 12" vinyls as the "Silver Addition”. "Death Crown" was graciously received within the underground scene, and held in high regards to notable critics and established publications within Europe.
