On April 18, Womanly partnered with PPNYC to bring you a panel on all things Black Maternal Health for Black Maternal Health Week.

According to doctors, Black women in New York City are 12 times more likely to die in childbirth than white women. This issue affects our community, and we must take steps to increase awareness and access to quality medical care. Hear from experts in the field about the health disparities affecting Black women and how we can take critical strides to ensure that we are centering Black women's health and wellness in relation to the maternal mortality crisis in New York and beyond.
