Getting Signifire out of rap retirement is a big goal for 2023. One of them "effortless mastery" type rappers, I've been a fan since his days doing verses for the Indigenous Womb crew, and buddy, that was back in the Bush era.

This track evokes so much for me: the bottled lightning feeling when this beat came together, rediscovering it years later when I lived in Illinois, the endorphin high of hearing the first rough mix in Custom's studio, and finally, the long-lost music video we shot for this in Boston. It's a lot.
