Electro-grime experimenter Darq E Freaker returns this month with a fiery double single titled ‘Red Velvet/Butterscotch’. Known for his hyperactive, innovative work with international talents like Danny Brown and Dai Burger, the London producer is tapping into his UK rave influences for the hypnotic new project, which will be the first in a series of independent A/B-side releases.

The track we’re repping today is A-side banger ‘Red Velvet’, which oozes with intricate, shuddering percussive elements, snappy 808's and ice-cold vocal samples. 

‘Red Velvet/Butterscotch’ is out February 16.
