Zappa Van Tana

A very jazzy improvisation in shades of mingus and monk.  This track features Nick Rivera on the fret less bass guitar, playing in a proper trance..; reminiscent of Paul Chambers on kind of Blue..  Sean Rivera is playing on a midi guitar, (a home job built by his drummer.. ) adding keys and marimba and soundscapes en cloud.. all the while jeff colvin gets to cruise around like a sunday drive on the drums.  A little nice moody blues for the mother's day news..

A true story, about a nice little cabin in rural Oregon, with a serious problem, just above Cave Junction.. ..
  A mountain lion stalks the outhouse..  Some of us have seen it..  One witness claims it drug away a full grown Saint Bernard in full daylight,.. but it's nearly always seen encroaching on the outhouse at night... .   
  Why does it stalk the outhouse?  What food does it habituate, how many meals has this monster ate?  What kind of battles, fought here late and just How many persons met this fate.. ?   It's best you better listen good, just in case . . we think you should.. .. .
