Lindsey Herbert is a prominent figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across the US’ Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds and sound design, and her ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances.  

Beginning as a young raver with an intense passion for dance music and its community, Lindsey began her own musical journey at the age of 15 and has been at it for nearly half of her life. Since her first gig in 2014, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities. Originally a resident and booker of Robot Ears and now a resident of Direct to Earth, Lindsey has been an integral part of San Francisco's techno landscape, while also gracing the stages of prominent LA promoters such as OBSERVE, Synthetik Minds, 6AM, Dirty Epic, RE/FORM, and more. Her influence extends beyond borders with steady headlining gigs both domestically and internationally, while her more recent relocation to Phoenix sees her actively nurturing the local techno community as a resident of Techno Snobs. 

In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the studio. Her discography has grown exponentially, with recent drops on esteemed U.S. underground labels like Truncate, 4-Trk, Blank Code, Northern Parallels, and Crisis of Man, as well as notable European and South American imprints such as Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, Suara and many others. The future holds even more promise with countless forthcoming releases on the horizon.

However, Lindsey's trajectory extends far beyond her production career. Notably, she graced the stages of Movement Festival in Detroit and the iconic Tresor in Berlin in 2023, further solidifying her presence on the global stage. Additionally, she was personally invited by techno luminary Richie Hawtin to tour throughout North America as part of his From Our Minds concept, further cementing her status in the industry. 

In a noteworthy evolution, Lindsey's personal sound has transitioned to a more hypnotic, groovy, and dancefloor-oriented style. Her sets, ranging from ambient to deep to peak-time and high-energy, are meticulously crafted to suit the atmosphere, aiming to immerse listeners in a captivating journey and lock them into a relentless groove.

Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists. The label has been actively hosting showcases, providing a platform for the next generation of techno talent to shine.

With her dynamic sound, magnetic stage presence, and relentless dedication to pushing boundaries, Lindsey Herbert stands as a formidable force in the technosphere, leaving an indelible mark wherever she goes.

Episode 28 lands with a very special set from a very special collaboration between GRV.DVSN and Laster which brought some really precious memories to Bogota and Pereira back in August. 

For this episode we bring you one of the best sets of the weekend... A vinyl set by rising techno star Laure Croft. A 2hr vinyl session that had Antisistema's dancefloor at peak energy and flooded with the sound of pure techno and hardgroove. 

As mentioned above, this was a really special set and collaboration so hit play, sit back and re-live one of the most memorable nights of 2025 in Bogotá.

En este nuevo episodio de ESPECTRO presentamos a INLIMEN, DJ y productora nacida en Ucrania, criada en Portugal y actualmente basada en Manchester, Reino Unido. Su nombre proviene de las palabras latinas in (“dentro”) y limen (“límite/umbral”), reflejando su visión de la música como un portal hacia estados de transición y conexión profunda.

Con una mezcla de texturas hipnóticas y grooves singulares, INLIMEN construye sets diseñados para guiar a la audiencia hacia un estado de trance. Sus performances destacan por un juego preciso de tensión y liberación, llevando al público por un viaje íntimo donde la emoción y el ritmo se entrelazan de forma orgánica.

Ha compartido escenario con referentes como Blawan y Dax J, consolidándose como una de las voces emergentes más interesantes de la escena electrónica underground tanto en el Reino Unido como en Portugal.

Además de su trabajo en solitario, INLIMEN es residente de HØL, un colectivo basado principalmente en el mítico DBA de Manchester, dedicado a construir una escena más diversa, inclusiva y conectada con sus raíces. Esta residencia le ha permitido expandir su sonido y presentarse junto a talentos locales en ascenso y DJs de renombre mundial.

Para INLIMEN, la música no es solo sonido: es una experiencia compartida, un paso hacia lo desconocido donde cada persona puede encontrar su propio significado.
