Danny Sriskandarajah is about to take over as the boss of Oxfam GB. His #RouteToTheTop included stints as Director General of the Royal Commonwealth Society and General Secretary of CIVICUS, a global alliance of civil society organisations. But his rise to began at a think tank, the Institute for Public Policy Research, where he distinguished himself from his fellow wonks by being comms savvy. In conversation with his former press officer Richard Darlington, Danny discusses where it all went right, what he’d do differently if he had his time over again and what you can learn from his #RouteToTheTop.
