Adoption. What does it mean to me? How did being adopted affect my life and how did I start my journey for the discovery of my Korean roots? In this section I will try to cover the various experiences I've had and to share what it's like to be adopted.
Of course, I am fully aware that these are simply my views and my experiences, but it is my hope you may find something in it. If only some mild entertainment!

90 Day Milestone - Writing

The first in a series where I will be exploring the subject of adoption and how it has shaped and affected me. What were the hurdles, how did I discover my roots? What do roots mean to someone who is adopted? Of course, I fully understand that I can only express my own views in regards to this, sometimes heavy, sometimes light, subject and I know there are many different stories. It is my goal to treat this subject manner as respectfully as I can.

True, I have become pretty excited about what I'm doing, 90 Day wise, but I've come to realise that there is a fine line between being excited and talking about it and shoving things down peoples throats. The latter is obviously less preferable. So how I balance it?

90 Day Milestone - Writing - January Second, Or Fourth

In the 3rd week of january already, time flies!! The most important thing to do before I even begin to write? Read! Naive as I was, I thought I wouldn't need it but thankgod I did. It's been incredibly inspiring to do even the small reading I'm doing right now, but it's a well needed kick in the pants!

90 Day Milestone - 2 - Reading

Everyone will face their limitations at some point in their lives. Physical, mental or spiritual limitations will make you question if going on in a certain makes sense. My experience has been that those injuries and limitations, will push you to be even more creative and focussed than you ever thought possible!

Ponderings Just For You And Me

Despite the best efforts, personal development can feel like a dead end street. Every now and then, I ask myself, what the hell does it take?? What the hell is it all for, because I'm certainly not seeing any real benefits or progress.. 

I guess it's part of the journey, but I can't help but feel just a bit helpless from time to time.
