I love Bill Whiters' song "Lovely Day" so much. I've wanted to record my own version of it for a long time trying to capture the smile this song puts on my face and translate it into a musical arrangement with an uplifting female vocal and a playful jazzy instrumentation. I hope I've succeeded in adding a little bit of loveliness to a song that certainly didn't need my help but hopefully will bring joy to a few more people in its new shape.

Lovely Day

The song "Almost There" from The Princess And The Frog is one of my favorite songs. It's got this hopeful energy and perfectly embodies that enthusiastic, ambitious, joyous feeling of being so close to achieving something that is very dear and seemingly near. With one smiling and one crying eye, I feel like that with almost everything I do. 😂

I hope you guys like my version. As always I am mixing the retro with the electro. I'm very happy how the contrast between "old" and "new" turned out in this case. Maybe this track might be... almost there? 🤔😂
