Turning Leaves -   

You’re wading much deeper than ever before 
Looks ever so cold where the light won’t reach 
She said what of the soul when the body dies? 
Picture the space of a room when the walls come down  

I went out of body, I swam beyond time 
I visited mother on the sea bed  
With every stride sprang up flowers in bloom 
Which swiftly departed with each passing step  

I sat through a concert & here’s what I saw -
One fragile creature at war with itself 
I felt all that ails you & all you are 
Is only one move in the great cosmic dance  

I felt every ring on every tree 
How everything’s orbiting everything 
To go somewhere new you must be somewhere first

They’ll find themselves to be transported
