Shit, you realize you're tripping way too hard. You are lost in the party. You twist around so many people talking and motoring around. As you run, no, as I ran between moments of enthusiasm and moments of obsession. Afterall, you can only ran past tense, someone wise told you that once... Where did the time go? Were you in control? You may have made a show with those, um, cats and hats? What was that all about anyway? Where's your phone? Can someone call me, please? Where'd Karma Patrol go with those starburst? Well... Fuck that then, we're on a raw mission to lost and found through acid neverland, or was this just a plastic dream? It feels like you've been wandering all day, but then you take a shy look at the lights. Omg, the lights!!! Could heaven ever be like this? 

We got your friendly vibes, chopped up vocals, feelings of badassery, swampy breaks, flirts with trance, happy peaks, dark troughs, deep mixes, and happy little accidents throughout your journey. Endless Horizons is a journey through the sounds of the day. These 24 carefully curated selections embody the energy and mood of each passing hour and offer a glimpse into PK’s eclectic tastes and his ability to seamlessly mix across multiple genres. 

The set begins with the rising sun, bringing warm soothing vocals and deep house sounds, while the heat of midday provides pushy rhythm patterns and breakbeats. With the setting sun comes uplifting melodies that seamlessly transition into tribal drum patterns and set a deeper tone for twilight. I'm a huge fan of the band The Belle Game. When they asked me to remix their song River I rushed into the studio to play with their lush sound stems. The tune proved to be a challenge being in 3/4 time but I somehow managed to bend it into a 4/4 time signature. I love the vocal, so haunting and powerful. I hope you enjoy.

It was actually a mobile sauna that brought Vancouverite Darren Woodhead to the attention of many in Western Canada’s dance music scene. Beginning in 2001 these weekly sauna-slash-DJ parties in East Vancouver became a cultural hub for a group of Vancouver creatives. The ensuing Podcast and events brought the sound of sauna to the world while the outdoor shower and thumping beats captured the attention of the neighbours. 

Woodhead's sets get better every year and are guaranteed to bring the vibe he is famous for. Who else can DJ in a 100 degree wooden box or battling 90km winds on Canada's rugged west coast?
