Now some benefit info.... 

Despite it becoming old news, and in a lot of media cases, un-newsworthy, the humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean is still ongoing, with Government legislation making it harder and harder for people to survive. The situation is not only imminent, but also a long term problem for many who are stuck in these locations, with borders and legislation stopping them moving forwards. 

With this in mind we are going to donate profits from this release to Mosaik Support Centre based on the island of Lesvos. People have the right to live in dignity, and places like Mosaik are helping to make this possible. Here is some information on the organisation. 

Mosaik Support Center for Refugees and Locals provides a space of warmth, safety and community for the most vulnerable populations on Lesvos. Built on principles of solidarity, integration and empowerment, Mosaik aims to move beyond immediate crisis response and to offer sustainable structures to support refugees in their resolve to live with dignity. Bringing together over 630 students aged 4 to 89, from 20 countries, Mosaik offers language courses in English, Greek, Arabic and Farsi, legal support for asylum applicants, vocational training in arts and crafts, upcycling workshops, music and dance classes, daycare for young children, and cultural events supported by artists, activists and organizations from across the world.

Profits from this one will go to ABC Belarus. The money will go towards legal costs and solidarity actions for those who are need support whilst facing state oppression. For over three months people in Belarus have been fighting on the streets against the authoritarian regime, where Lukashenko has sat as a dictator for 26 years. 

So far, at least 5 people have been killed, thousands have been beaten and some disabled from police brutality. On top of this, more than 15,000 people have been detained and sentenced on administrative cases, with more than 500 criminal cases being initiated. Currently there are at least 200 people awaiting trial in the pre-trial detention centre.

The next release from us is coming soon! WR032 will be another double AA side 12", this time with our first release from Dubkronics out of Mexico! 'Blackout' is a heavy stepper tune voiced by Anja G and mixed by Karlo in the Homegrown Sound studio. The next side is 'Make a Change' from our family in France, KillaSoundYard featuring Rico Gaultier! 'Make A Change' is politically charged digital reggae from KSY and of course voiced by Daman.

Both sides of this 12" have a vocal and dub cut, with all profits made going to various solidarity actions. Often we state exactly which it will go to, however currently we are active with many organisations covering refugee solidity to animal rights, environmental activism and more.... Full info on who we donate too will be posted online in due time.

As always, screen printing from the wicked NoPoint Atelier here in Bulgaria, mastered and cut by us (well Pressure Mastering...) and artwork from Marko Vojnic Gin.
