Sometimes afraid, who to trust in a world full of scary monsters?
This crazy world. Who can you trust?

(Verse 1)
Better to run away in fright than the thought of walking home at night
If you think your life is just a bore, there are so much things to look out for
sometimes those violently insane, or the little demons in your brain.
Today you better watch your back to avoid being fatally attacked.

When we were kids, oh we were scared of the monsters underneath our beds
As we grew up throughout the years, it evolved to even bigger fears.
Like getting broke, financial strain. Don’t throw money into a drain.
Or loving someone who hurts you, ugly scars and bruises, black and blue
Not just the physical abuse but the hurtful words that we use.  
You may think I’m a bit cautious but the news is making me nauseous.
Mass shootings in stores and schools and the murders coldhearted and cruel.
Many gunshots and four caskets, I hope the boy gets a life sentence.

Scary Monsters

Ballad of Woodstock James is a flagpole that was stuck in the ground on February 9th, 2020, marking the beginning of a whirlwind of passion and creation to come about in the year 2020.

Centered around the pivotal Alter-Ego character Woodstock James, these three songs are a manifestation of the mania, emotions, and personalized propaganda seized from the mind of James Trevor Lucier III.

Creative Madness

James Trevor Lucier III, known to his friends and enemies alike as "Woodstock James", is a 26 year old musician currently residing in Austin, Texas. Born in a Midnight Fire, poisoned by the moon, and sent to the earth on a bed of color, Woodstock James is an artist to be reckoned with.  Favorite pastimes include making music, spending time with family, and creating color for the world.
