The idea behind this EP was to create something effortless, danceable, and slightly ironic while capturing the moment as honestly as possible.

The tracks were crafted using samples, synthesizers, and vocals—quickly and without overcomplicating, to deliver a pure dance groove.

Katia Stieber is boundary-pushing DJ and producer. Her sets blend Electroclash, Dark Disco, Nu-Beat, Indietronica, EBM, Acid, and Experimental sounds, creating a unique experience for audiences. She is the founder of Hybrid Moments, a party series and community exploring the darker side of electronic music. Katia has performed at iconic venues like Closer, HÖR, and festivals such as Black! Factory, and Karpathy Station. Her performances span beyond Ukraine to cities like Berlin, London, and Warsaw, playing at renowned venues including Jasna 1, The Social, Paloma, and Urban Spree.

Béllis is a DJ from Zaporizhzhia, whose music career began on the Kyiv scene. She is the founder of Hybrid Moment party series and community, which explores the dark side of electronic music, and a curator of the show Inner Voyage at 20ft radio, aimed at providing a platform for experiments by artists and DJs in various downtempo genres.

Inspired by Post-Punk, Trip-Hop, and Ambient Music, with a background in Nu Disco and Synthpop, Béllis deeply explores Dark Disco and EBM melodies, the dark side of Indie Dance, complemented by Acid and Electro motifs.

Her selection is a symbiosis of powerful synth parts, ethnic motifs, and elusive vocal elements. According to the DJ, this combination creates a sense of immersion, making the experience she and the people on the dance floor receive more intimate and profound.

Despite the fact that Béllis has just started her journey in DJing, she has already performed at venues such as ∄, Closer, Somepeople, RSO Berlin and at festivals like Black! Factory, Strichka and Brave! Factory.

«Цей мікс — моє бачення рідного міста, Києва, — пояснює Timkov. — Кожен трек передає емоцію та атмосферу певної події, яка відбулася або періодично повторюється в Києві. Темп цього міста — стрімкий: якщо ти тільки переїхав до столиці, він може здатися шаленим, а атмосфера — біполярною чи навіть шизофренічною. Я маю на увазі, що Київ — місто жорстких контрастів, особливо в часи війни. Це може лякати. Але подолання страху робить нас сильнішими».

‘This mix is my vision of my hometown, Kyiv, — Timkov explains. — Each track conveys the emotion and atmosphere of a particular event that took place — or keeps recurring — in Kyiv. The pace of this city is intense: if you’ve just moved to the capital, it may seem overwhelming, and the atmosphere — bipolar or even schizophrenic. What I mean is that Kyiv is a city of stark contrasts, especially in times of war. It can be frightening. But overcoming fear makes us stronger’.
