Treacherous Space

The Visited OST begins with a captivating opening track, "Arrival," which sets the tone for an unforgettable adventure. As the screen transitions from black to the title screen, this energetic theme welcomes players to the world of Jeff's intergalactic escapades.

The crash landing sequence is accompanied by "Crash Landing," a dramatic cutscene track that showcases the chaos of Jeff's spaceship spiraling out of control. This intense piece sets the stage for the events that unfold as the player takes control of Andy, who sees the ship crash and goes to investigate.

Once Jeff and Andy are acquainted, they begin to explore the sleepy town of Bobilly. The lighthearted "Going Around Town" theme provides a playful atmosphere, perfect for the duo's carefree adventures through the town. This catchy tune captures the sense of discovery and excitement as they search for parts to repair Jeff's spaceship.

Jeff and Andy stop by the local 7Eleven to buy snacks for the adventure ahead. Their visit is accompanied by "Inside the Convenience Store," a Bossa Nova track mixed with synths. As Jeff and Andy browse the aisles, this track maintains the lighthearted tone while introducing hints of tension as they encounter the U.S. Army for the first time.

With the entire building being surrounded by soldiers, Jeff and Andy are forced to think outside the box. Jeff repurposes a nearby slushee machine into an attack mech, and in "Slushee Attack!", their escape from the 7-Eleven is matched by an equally energetic and humorous track. This minigame music captures the excitement of Andy's Slushee-fueled escapade as they dodge missiles and cover soldiers in icy cold goodness.

After Jeff and Andy lose the soldiers in the woods, they return back to town equipped with disguises and head over to the arcade, with the background music providing a more laid-back yet fun atmosphere.

At the Arcade

When the soldiers happen to find them again, Jeff quickly adapts his ray gun using parts from a Pacman machine, harmless teleporting whoever the beam touches back to their place of origin. "PacBlast" injects a thrilling element into the arcade segment. This high-energy track captures the chaos and fun as Andy zaps soldiers turned into Pacman ghosts, fending off the U.S. Army in an entertaining and challenging minigame.

Having escaped from the U.S. Army once more, Jeff and Andy have finally managed to scrouge up enough parts to repair the spaceship, but to Jeff's surprise, he discovers that it has run out of fuel. So, he and Andy head into a nearby field to collect enough corn to fuel the backup bio-generator aboard the spacecraft. The serene atmosphere of "Crop Circles" provides a soothing contrast to the previous action-packed segments. This peaceful track complements the game's Earthbound-inspired charm as Jeff and Andy create intricate crop circles while they work.

With everything said and done, Jeff and Andy take a break to admire the stars and simply chat for a moment. In "Stargazing," the final cutscene before Jeff's capture is accompanied by a poignant and emotive piece that captures the special bond between Jeff and Andy. As they share this moment of introspection and connection, the music swells with a mix of nostalgia and bittersweet longing.

Suddenly, out of now where, an entire platoon of soldiers show up and take Jeff and Andy by surprise. After Jeff is captured, Andy is at a loss of what to do and returns back to the hidden spaceship only to find a pre-recorded message on the monitor. Jeff tells Andy that either he can press the self-destruct button or he can attempt to save Jeff. Andy chooses the latter and storms into the army base, guns ablazin'. 

The tense atmosphere of "Fight the Man" propels players into an intense action sequence inspired by Doom. This high-energy track heightens the sense of urgency as Andy fights to rescue Jeff from the U.S. Army, providing a thrilling conclusion to their adventure.

Andy manages to save Jeff and they hurry back to the spaceship with the U.S. Army hot on their tails. Jeff barely escapes by boarding the ship before flying away, with both Andy and the soldiers staring up into the sky. The final track, "Departure," beautifully encapsulates the emotional resolution and closure of the game. As the end credits roll, this bittersweet piece wraps up the Visited OST with a fitting blend of nostalgia and hope for what the future may hold.
