Hi y'all,

As I made this mix initially as a guestmix for Copypaste Radio but ended up submitting another idea (will be online soon too),  I figured this mix served another occasion. What better occasion than my own bday?

The idea for the mix was to choose a subject and build your crates around it, related to the edit culture. I made a mix filled w funk & soul influenced sounds, as this is what I grew up with during my early youth. As I was quite happy with how the mix turned out, I wanted to share this one also w the world.

So this one is pretty much my craziest tape with the most energy yet! Inspired by prime-time sets of other club deejays and friends that I've been checking out in The Netherlands lately. Used a lot of electronic and bass music. Digged more into the jersey club sounds. Also I brought back some Baile Funk. And I introduced some Gqom en D&B.

CONCEPT:
Every month has its very own full moon. Meaning, I'm dropping a FULL MOON TAPE every month dedicated to that full moon. Spreading awareness to its appearance but most of all, keeping it fun to listen to! At home, during a workout, traveling or even a party!

Since the beginning of the corona crisis, we have been working on new collaborations, so that everyone can listen to the best new music from home. That is why we have put our heads together with Unwise to cook up something special. A total of eight DJs came by the Chicago Social Club to spin their current favorites.

For the 7th and final set of our UNWISE collaboration we had the pleasure of inviting JOSIAS up behind the decks to spin some of his recent favorites. Being a producer, his set is carefully curated with hip hop, afro, and r&b tubes, as well as some of his own edits. Blast this one and enjoy - we definitely did!
