We're very happy and proud to welcome our favorite German duo on board of Manual Music! Boss Axis have recently made their debut on the label doing a remix for Might at Night, but now they are back to present you their 'Third Lake EP', featuring two new tracks + a stellar line-up of remixes.

Melodic and groovy - that’s the sound of Marcel and Thomas from Germany, who in 2008 decided to find their place together in the electronic music scene. Their sound is characterized by warmth, pressure and especially their emphasis on harmonies. Their attention to detail is obvious. Both the title track 'Third Lake' and the b-side 'Boship' suit the aformentioned description perfectly. Two new tracks by the 'ministers of melody' that will for sure rock many crowds!

On remix duties we welcome back on board our good friend Teho (Herzblut / Parquet), but we also welcome two new faces on board the Manual family; Formel (Einmusika) and Marten Sundberg (Kompakt / Moosseekkaa). A little something for everyone here. What's your favorite?

Hard to believe, but this is actually Olderic’s first solo EP on Connaisseur. After various collaborations, remixes and showcase participations, and as one of our radio show's hosts , the maestro from the CIRQ club near Venice has finally dropped a three-tracker all by himself on Connaisseur.

Straight up, you have definitely noticed at least one of the titles on "The Secret Chambers EP“ in any one set of our Italian family lately, as all tracks have a very prominent sound design you'll easily recognize after having heard them but once.

"Pyramid" is the peak time pleaser of the release, a proper 3am monster designed to create mayhem on the dancefloor. The touching "Hydre Intime“ will more likely find its place in the morning, while the dubby "Walking & Waiting“ is a genuine warm-up tune. A lovely package by a great artist.

„Die ersten Gespräche über eine gemeinsame Produktion mit @thomas-westerby (@onemanorchestra) für die EP gab es im KB18 in Kopenhagen nach einem Auftritt“, verrät @seth-schwarz, der mit Westerby die besagte „Zodiac“ EP produzierte. Sie wollten eine Symbiose aus progressiven Elementen und melancholischen Melodien in Kombination mit einem organischen Instrument schaffen. „Und das alles auf einem treibenden Beat Richtung Sternenhimmel, raus aus dem Orbit“, so der Musiker ergänzend. After impressing with his contribution to 'Watergate 25', emerging Spanish talent Upercent steps up for his first full-length EP on the label. In recent years the Valencia native has emerged with releases on labels of the ilk of Kompakt, Diynamic and the tastemaker favourite microCastle Records. We got our first taste of his talents on Watergate Records when the superb 'La Lluita' featured exclusively as part of 'Watergate 25 - Adana Twins' compilation. Late last year he made his debut at the club, where his distinctive aesthetic connected naturally. The new 'Flor De Lotus EP' exemplifies this style; a fusion of organic and analogue, Upercent's productions are always thoughtful and emotive. 'Somia' is laden with cosmic synths, hints of the Mediterranean, and a dance-ready beat to boot. The intricate percussion evident in 'Somia' carries through in 'Pulcre'; another rhythmic piece infused with an enigmatic vocal and a pulsating bass that continues to build throughout. 'Flor De Lotus' culminates with a high-energy, late-night remix of 'Pulcre' from Romanian DJ/Producer BOg, who also graced the 'Watergate 25' compilation.

Author, composer, performer and conductor of his own orchestra, Worakls is a modern artist.
Although trained in classical music, he quickly gained recognition through his fusion of classical music and electronic tones thanks to which he meets his first successes as an artist, but also as the founder of the labels Hungry Music and Sonate Records. 

Worakls brings a unique and modern sound signature to his music by mixing in his influences (mainly classical, rock and electro). Powerful orchestrations, stirring melodies and dreamy sounds are distinctive features of Worakls’ music. On stage, he conducts his own orchestra, the “Worakls Orchestra” with which he plays his music in the biggest venues in Europe for a show that’s as beautiful to see as it is to hear.
