Hungry Music is thrilled to present the fourth and last outing of brand new remix releases celebrating the second anniversary of Worakls' groundbreaking 2019 "Orchestra" album. 

Joining the ranks of world renowned producers Ben Böhmer, Mark Höffen, Rodriguez Jr., Booka Shade and Patrice Bäumel, who all previously delivered breathtaking remixes of tracks taken from the “Orchestra” album, this release entitled “By the Brook (Piano Remixes)” features the who is who of contemporary pianists. Sofiane Pamart, Francesco Tristano and Antoine Decrop all have created mesmerising interpretations of “By the Brook”.

The French Antoine Decrop started playing the piano at the age of eight and has since went on an incredible musical journey - winning prizes, playing concert tours in French cathedrals, performing Beethoven's 3rd concerto in C minor with the Orchester de la Garde Républicaine and more. His piano-only interpretation is the perfect example of how much energy and modernism can be extracted from this incredibly versatile and beautiful instrument. Antoine manages to communicate the essence and power of “By the Brook” in perfect style with just the piano.

Luxembourg-born pianist Francesco Tristano tours the world performing baroque and contemporary repertoire and records dance tracks for electronic music labels. Another perfect candidate for a Worakls remix! His composition is an intense almost eight minute long escapade through the depths of high quality dance music. Francesco manages to not only come up with magnificent melodies but also strong grooves and rhythms through his pianistic expressions.

The classically trained musician Worakls surprises with yet another high-quality two tracker for Hungry Music. He dedicates the release and track one to the electro-mechanical, polyphonic tape replay keyboard named Mellotron. The Mellotron was often used by the Beatles, Genesis and King Crimson. It became a notable instrument in progressive rock during the 1960s until the 1980s. Worakls crafts a well balanced musical piece featuring the trademark Mellotron sound, combined with a cutting-edge and warm dance groove. The orchestral atmospheric elements give ‘Mellotron’ that indescribable timeless touch that Worakls delivers so well.

Next up is the dramatic & energy filled ‘Pandemonium” composition. Worakls once again skillfully combines not only two but three musical genres and molds them into an epic dance track. The string section and diabolical brass instruments set the dramaturgical vibe, while the various layers of guitars rock their way into mayhem. The strong 4/4 beat carries the musical elements gracefully and provides full dancefloor compatibility.

Author, composer, performer and conductor of his own orchestra, Worakls is a modern artist.
Although trained in classical music, he quickly gained recognition through his fusion of classical music and electronic tones thanks to which he meets his first successes as an artist, but also as the founder of the labels Hungry Music and Sonate Records. 

Worakls brings a unique and modern sound signature to his music by mixing in his influences (mainly classical, rock and electro). Powerful orchestrations, stirring melodies and dreamy sounds are distinctive features of Worakls’ music. On stage, he conducts his own orchestra, the “Worakls Orchestra” with which he plays his music in the biggest venues in Europe for a show that’s as beautiful to see as it is to hear.
