Sometimes We Fall

Fret is what we call the sea fog that can envelop the towns and villages along the Yorkshire coast. This is a simple piece with only a couple of instruments in it.

Experimenting with granular destruction of a vocal sample over randomised backing. It's a little eery but interesting.

Tape delay experiments. Loops of different lengths interacting underneath a lovely string part. Gets me home.

Very soft ambient track. Part of a trilogy really. I recorded the piece first. Then recorded it played backwards. The stacked the two versions together to make this version. Time. Tide, Edit. Emit.

Edit, Emit

Insistent beat and a selection of resonant instrument sounds all based on tubes and pipes. Decided to make the ending completely different though (short attention span).

Keyboards, programming, bass and manicure in the Nottingham band None So Blind. Now producing solo and collaborative work in lots of styles. But not Jazz. I hate Jazz.
