على هامش معرض "منام" للفنون التّشكيليّة، أقيمت في مقرّ جمعية الثقافة العربيّة في حيفا ندوة بعنوان "منام- أحلام الأفراد، ذكرياتهم وحنينهم لفلسطين"، بمشاركة كلّ من؛ د. إسماعيل ناشف، د.جوني منصور، رلى خوري (قيّمة المعرض) والفنانة منار زعبي.

معرض منام:
جاء معرض "منام"، بتنظيم من جمعية الثقافة العربية في حيفا كجزء من مهرجان "قلنديا الدولي" للعام 2014، والذي شاركت في تنظيمه 9 مؤسسات فلسطينية تُعنى بالفنون التشكيليّة والبصريّة، وقد أتى ليكون محاولة فنّية لتوثيق فلسطين البديلة التي تعيش في أذهان الفلسطينيين، كمحاولة لإعادة خلق وطن الأم بالقوة بالرغم من الواقع المرئي القاسي.

أقيم المعرض في المركز الثقافي العربي المستقبلي في حيفا، المشروع الذي أرست دعائمه الراحلة د.روضة بشارة عطالله، وفي المعرض استُخدم المبنى بشكله الحالي قبل أي خطوة ترميم فيه، مما لاءم الروح التي خلقتها الأعمال الفنّية المشاركة، هذا الفضاء الذي خَلَق – بالفنانين المشاركين وأعمالهم والحضور وردود الفعل عامة – مسارًا جديدًا نحو شكل معاصر من الثقافة الفلسطينية، الممتد من تاريخها وجذورها وهويته والذاهب نحو حضور معاصر يربط الماضي بالحاضر ويشق طريقه بقوة وجمالية نحو المستقبل.


ندوة منام- "أحلام الأفراد، ذكرياتهم وحنينهم لفلسطين" | الجزء الأول

Work of Art was established in March 2014 by the Arab Cultural Association, Al Mashghal- Arab Center for Arts & Culture, and Itar Association. Work of Art Project was launched in May 2014, aiming to improve the working conditions in the Palestinian cultural sector.

The partnering associations initiated Work of Art aiming to increase job opportunities, marketing, and capacity building in the Palestinian cultural sector through practical steps toward constructing a professional network that brings artists and their productions to new and wider audiences- locally, regionally and internationally, and by trainings that aims to enrich workers in the cultural sector with the necessary technical, administrative, and other professional skills which will open new horizons for vocational and production opportunities.

The project was designed to accommodate the needs and demands of Palestinian artists and cultural workers, taking into consideration the complex and particular political reality through which Palestinians attempt to engage in, develop, and disseminate their culture.
