Initially, this recording was not much more than a 10 minute long jam with the " masters" Andre , Ruud and Arthur .
Later, the song became more structured, with the spoken words of Edgar Alan Poe's Annabell Lee by Bob Dylan ( recording of one of his radio programs ) .

Bob Dylan says halfway through the nomination that it is a very long poem . The music was with those words more than a snapshot . This was a long musical journey. The atmosphere , the sounds , the swing, the melancholy rhythm .

With this song I got the chance to make a reggae song with poetry .
On U Sound inspired me to use the saxophones . Quite on the one hand and very tight dubby unison with keys on the other side .

The name of the song not only says something about the beauty of nature, it refurs to the more quiet way of transport, we are still not capable to! 

I wanted to creat a song which was in the line of Chris Hinze playing on the record HOT DUB (also on Bambo Reggae and Kings of Reggae, together with Sly and Robbie, Peter Tosh and many others). Somewhat like a dedication.

I invited Caroline Groeneveld (a collega music-teacher) to come and play on this instrumental song.

This song deserves a place next to "Layla" among the songs of lost or unrequited love that Eric Clapton has written and performed. The version from the live session on the "Just One Night" album is the definitive version. Clapton's playing is so emotion laden that it's hard to listen to this song and not think about one's own lost loves. The song's melodic phrasing is soft, but with a edge that speaks of the anquish of a man who knows that, somewhere in the past, he lost his chance at true love: the type of love that makes one weak in the knees at the sight of one's lover; that makes one physically ill when one realizes that the relationship is no longer what it was and one's life is the poorer for it.
