In The Beginning

method: recording semitone sequences, layering, morphing with pedals while recording,  layering, panning tiny critters, layering, etc. headphones recommended
narration: shallow waters. seaweed. the powers it forces. the powers that force it. since it is hard to hear through the water's surface,the written-out poem can be found below. seaweed has oh some many overlapping voices ..... like the multivocal waves themselves

remains well-hidden
until it awakes
stirs and elopes

from far without me
adaptive swaying
in flow with the current
tentacle tides

deceptively timid
quite unassuming
tumbler of shadows
living on light

protruding from vastness
ancient sea giants
sediment trances
supporting frail roots

seaweed sensibilities
