David Correy doesn't want his fans to shuffle. 

"If you take someone's iPod, they might have everything from P!nk﻿ to Maroon 5﻿ to Rihanna﻿, to Justin Timberlake﻿ to Kanye West﻿ to Carrie Underwood﻿," says David.

"I want to embody all those artists in one." 

Armed with a powerful voice and a passion that knows no borders, this soul singer is poised to become just that – a 21st century global pop-star.

Born in Brazil, David came to America in his infancy after immense poverty forced his birth mother to put him up for adoption. David's adoptive parents raised him in Annapolis, Maryland, where his passion for music would quickly earn him starring roles in numerous high school musicals.

He was a natural on the stage, but David truly began chasing his real dreams in another part of the school: the boys room. "I was the king of taking bathroom breaks," David says, citing where he'd go to practice singing the Usher-inspired pop songs he had been writing after school.

Cortez is een Amersfoortse folkrockband die al zo’n jaar of tien bestaat. Ontstaan als naamloos trio dat met uitsluitend akoestische instrumenten hits uit de popgeschiedenis en folktraditionals coverde, is de band anno 2013 een stabiele vijfmansformatie met een repertoire dat geheel uit eigen werk bestaat. In de toegankelijke popliedjes klinken duidelijk invloeden uit de folk- en countrymuziek door. Het bandgeluid wordt gekenmerkt door de meerstemmige samenzang en instrumenten als banjo, mandoline, accordeon en lap steel gitaar.

The Black Feathers is the result of a combination of English folk influences, some Irish heritage, and large splash of Americana inspiration, all held together with close Bluegrass harmonies.

Having performed their debut show in May 2012, The Black Feathers have been touring the country, captivating audiences everywhere with songs of love, life, and death.

They have shared a stage with the likes of Ben Ottewell (Gomez), Luke Concannon (Nizlopi), Jazz Morley, and Isambard Folk Award winners Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker.

They are currently working on their debut 5 track EP, which will be released in early 2013.

After the collaboration on Sander Scheers and the Board Of Trustees' album "Step 2: Trust" (2009) Sander and Walter started working on new material. 

Now named "Steeem" they continue with their mellow sounding blend of soul, hip-hop, jazz, reggae, dance, blues, lounge and more they call Stroul. 

The album "Self-A-Steeem" (2013) features Rugile Daujotaite on vocals and flute.

The saying “can’t see the wood for the trees” resonates in the UK music scene. So many bands, so much attitude, so much history. How can you tell what is real and what is fake? Some bands succumb to the vacuum of the scene, absorbing themselves in the pomp and the glory of spin-doctors, always itching to be the next big thing. Some bands. The Jade Assembly are not one of those.
Emerging unscathed from the UK alternative underground music arena is a band that now display all the hallmarks of a new northern treasure. There is nothing fabricated or posed, just an inescapable force of conviction.

The band is built on the main point of difference, in John Foster (Foz), they have a true northern poet. A songwriter that places honesty above favour, a frontman who possesses an imposing sense of belief, not devoid of arrogance - but full of commitment. Everything counts. From the passion of Watson and Finch's rhythm section, to the raw power of Smedo's guitar work, each Jade tune is an anthem waiting to be discovered.
