David Correy doesn't want his fans to shuffle. 

"If you take someone's iPod, they might have everything from P!nk﻿ to Maroon 5﻿ to Rihanna﻿, to Justin Timberlake﻿ to Kanye West﻿ to Carrie Underwood﻿," says David.

"I want to embody all those artists in one." 

Armed with a powerful voice and a passion that knows no borders, this soul singer is poised to become just that – a 21st century global pop-star.

Born in Brazil, David came to America in his infancy after immense poverty forced his birth mother to put him up for adoption. David's adoptive parents raised him in Annapolis, Maryland, where his passion for music would quickly earn him starring roles in numerous high school musicals.

He was a natural on the stage, but David truly began chasing his real dreams in another part of the school: the boys room. "I was the king of taking bathroom breaks," David says, citing where he'd go to practice singing the Usher-inspired pop songs he had been writing after school.

Cortez is een Amersfoortse folkrockband die al zo’n jaar of tien bestaat. Ontstaan als naamloos trio dat met uitsluitend akoestische instrumenten hits uit de popgeschiedenis en folktraditionals coverde, is de band anno 2013 een stabiele vijfmansformatie met een repertoire dat geheel uit eigen werk bestaat. In de toegankelijke popliedjes klinken duidelijk invloeden uit de folk- en countrymuziek door. The Black Feathers is the result of a combination of English folk influences, some Irish heritage, and large splash of Americana inspiration, all held together with close Bluegrass harmonies.

Having performed their debut show in May 2012, The Black Feathers have been touring the country, captivating audiences everywhere with songs of love, life, and death.

They have shared a stage with the likes of Ben Ottewell (Gomez), Luke Concannon (Nizlopi), Jazz Morley, and Isambard Folk Award winners Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker.

They are currently working on their debut 5 track EP, which will be released in early 2013.
