Marty lived a unique childhood surrounded by "the arts" from birth. He grew up listening to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Otis Redding, as well as his parents, both classically trained Persian singers and actors. Singing before he can remember and picking up guitar at age 12, he immediately began writing original instrumental songs and recording them by age 16. Throughout the years, he's worked in almost every capacity imaginable as a musician - as a producer, engineer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and of course as an artist as well.

The Clouds Below perform 'Drink the Kool-Aid

The Clouds Below began as an inspired idea by Malcolm Guess and Benjamin Jones. While working on remixes for their band Kaura, whom Ben and Malcolm founded and perform with; they accumulated a number of songs that they felt deserved to become it's own entity. Having both been fans of electronic music for a long time and having always talked about the idea of working together on an electronic project...The Clouds Below was born. Mixing styles of Glitch Hop, Rock, Bass and Downtempo; The Clouds Below released their first 5 song EP on July 30th 2013. Bringing their music and musicianship to the stage, The Clouds Below is an engaging visual and visceral experience with the addition of unique and impacting light show.

Sturken and Rogers sent Taylor’s music to iconic songwriter Kara DioGuardi who quickly recruited Taylor to her publishing company and presented Taylor to Warner Brothers Records Chairman and super-producer, Rob Cavallo. He immediately signed Taylor to Warner Brothers—home of Taylor’s favorite artist, Paul Simon.

Currently in the studio recording his debut album with superstar producers such as Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, One Direction) and Eg White (Adele, James Blunt) among others, Taylor’s music ranges across a musical spectrum, from acoustic guitar to catchy pop hits.

He has appeared on the Today Show With Hoda and Kathy Lee, El Cofi Breik, MundoFox, and several other national and local programs.
