At an indeterminate time in its evolution, humanity is engaged in an all-out war known as ‘The Conflict’. Lands have been split into several ‘settlements’ which are ‘governed’ ( sometimes unbeknown to their inhabitants ) by a cabal of 20 powerful beings known as ‘The World Eaters’. Chosen by god for their various ‘qualities’, these once mortal beings have been transformed post-death and sit as guardians until the final battle – the X-Rapture.
Our complex story unfolds through the music of this eclectic mix of immortals from the heroic angel to the foulest demon. Each album represents a separate chapter of our story which not only bend the concepts of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ but make us question their very existence.
‘The World Eaters’ are a varied bunch inspired by figures ( past and present )  in the fields of the media, literature, religion, science, politics and more. The listener is invited to question why they act in the way they do as apparently simple moral concepts are blurred and juxtaposed. Nothing is perhaps as it seems.
