Phil Martyn a.k.a. Philthy Chit has an ability to fuse tight, luxuriant grooves with mesmerising melodic touches. It’s always great when an artist reaches out to us asking to remix a specific track because they are in love with it, and that’s exactly what happened when Polish producer Patryk Solecki a.k.a. Andromedha (previous releases on Silk, JOOF Aura, Bonzai Progressive and FSOE Parallels) dropped us a line back in May last year. His releases have featured regularly on Solarstone’s weekly radio show and we are big fans of his deep, layered productions. Clocking in at 122bpm Andromedha’s remix is one for heavy, intense floors; a fat and rich bassline, hypnotic gated vocal stabs and crisp hats underpin the mix, leaving plenty of room for Patryk’s lays of luscious synths to weave their magic.

2019 was a breakthrough year for Vintage & Morelli, as he not only dropped his acclaimed artist album ("Hymn To The Night"), but also headlined our Silk Music Showcase #500 Tour across six US cities this past summer. V&M's longtime friend and muse Arielle Maren proved to be a major contributor to "Hymn To The Night," with five official collaborations on the album.

One of their standout tracks together, "Lonely Shore," now receives the remix treatment from celebrated veteran duo Blood Groove & Kikis, as well as the legendary RNX (aka Robert Nickson), who co-produced the original version of the track. In the final analysis, all three versions of "Lonely Shore" offer unique arrangements that fall somewhere along the progressive electronic music spectrum, but the radiant melodies and ineffably affecting vocals of Arielle Maren shine through them all.
