Ok this is a special one. When Canine invited me to her Unleash residency at la Kulture, she proposed me to warmup the party from 11:30pm to 1am. It was the very first time I had to create an ephemeral piece more than an hour long so it was a little challenging, especially because I design each of these ephemeral pieces to be like one, continuous, giant escalation. The fact that this liveset was so long did create some very interesting moments in my opinion, especially in the beginning, like if all these synth arps were diluted in some ethereal space or something.

Believe it or not, someone even told me that this performance would fit in a contemporary art museum. Don't know how to take it really, so let's say this is an awesome compliment.

Thank you very much Canine for inviting me, it was a great night. I would also thank Zoe and Laurent for the beautiful conversation we had together after the bar did close its doors. Good and powerful memories.

This is a  demo of the sounds of the Buchla 259T manufactured by Tiptop Audio, a faithful  eurorack version of the legendary Buchla 259 Complex Oscillator -the mother of all complex oscillators found today.  Sounds  of other oscillators are not included for the sake of this demonstration.

"Newer Unknown Breeds" was at the time a further development in sound for Blink Twice. The album expanded on the techno and electro genre much more than Blink Twice's debut "Other Locations". There was an increase usage of sampling on this collection of material, often with looped effects incorporated to add further density. With the blend of tribal and industrial elements remaining, it serves as an adventurous concoction of experimental rhythmic and ambient electronic music.
