The Tax Collector is an upcoming American crime thriller film written, directed, and produced by David Ayer. The film follows two tax collectors for a crime lord named Wizard whose business becomes upended, resulting in one of them desperately protecting his family from an old rival. It stars Bobby Soto, Cinthya Carmona, George Lopez and Shia LaBeouf.

It is scheduled to be released on August 7, 2020, by RLJE Films.

On June 21, 2018, it was announced that Shia LaBeouf and David Ayer would team up for the film The Tax Collector.[2] In May 2018, it was announced that Brendan Schaub had joined the cast for a cameo surprise role as a gang member, as director David Ayer had been trying to convince Brendan for months to take a role in the film.[3] In July 2018, Chelsea Rendon, Cinthya Carmona, Lana Parrilla, Gabriela Flores and George Lopez joined the cast of the film

Трудно е да се определи кой е първият български рап изпълнител, защото в началото тази музика е известна само в ъндърграунд средите и не получава широк отзвук. Най-известните изпълнители от това време са Рап Нация, Bulldogz, Avi MC и други. Едно от първите рап парчета на име „Проблеми“ е на групата Avi MC и излиза в ефир през 1989 година. Песента е записана в студиото на Нова генерация.[1].

По същото време в Бургас се сформира Рап Нация.

Една от първите изяви на рап изпълнител по национална телевизия е на Влади Априлов през 1991 в рубрика на БНТ наречена „Рап нюз“.[2]

В периода от 1995 до началото на 21 век хип-хоп културата в България бележи бурно развитие. През 1996 година е сформирана една от най-известните български рап групи – Ъпсурт. През 1994 Мишо Шамара създава групата Гумени глави. В групата също така е и 100 кила, който по-късно осъществява успешна солова кариера. През 2000 година Спенс издава първия си албум – „Прекалено лично“ и създаденият от него лейбъл – Sniper Records се превръща в най-известната звукозаписна рап компания редом с RnB Records на Мишо Шамара. В Sniper Records записва и друга емблематична българска хип-хоп група – DRS+. Други известни рап изпълнители появили се през тези години са – Нокаут, Хората на Изгрева, Wosh MC, X-Team, Ударната група, FARS и други.

От 2005 година до днешно време хип-хоп музиката в страната продължава да се развива. Някои от рапърите спират да се занимават с тази дейност, но други като Ъпсурт и Спенс продължават да творят. След 2009 година 100 кила издава два албума и много от песните му се превръщат в хитове. След 2010 година на българската рап сцена изгрява Криско. Хип-хоп музиката в страната следи световните музикални тенденции и се пренася в интернет, така след 2010 множество рап звезди дължат славата си на глобалната мрежа – сред тях са Криско, F.O., Dim4ou, Qvkata DLG, E.C.C.C, Keranov и други.

Shoreline Mafia is an American musical group based in Los Angeles and currently signed to Atlantic Records. The group released their first full-length mixtape, ShoreLineDoThatShit, in November 2017. That album was re-released by Atlantic in May 2018. In August 2018, they also released an EP titled Party Pack through Atlantic. In September 2019, they released “Party Pack Vol. 2” through Atlantic Records as well.

Shoreline Mafia was composed of 4 members: Ohgeesy (real name, Alejandro Carranza), Rob Vicious (Robert Magee), Fenix Flexin (Fenix Rypinski), Master Kato (Malik Carson).[1] Ohgeesy and Fenix met in 2012 while doing graffiti in Los Angeles. The pair began making music soon after, and, sometime later, Rob Vicious and Master Kato joined them. Although they produced music for several years, they did not become a rap group until 2016. They chose the name Shoreline Mafia at some point after their formation.[2]

In November 2017, they independently released their first full-length mixtape, ShoreLineDoThatShit. The album featured songs such as "Nun Major," "Musty," and "Bottle Service." Most of the songs on the album were produced by Ron-Ron including "Musty" and "Bottle Service," the beats for which the group was not initially authorized to use. Despite this, the two parties eventually formed a partnership that continues to exist.[2][3][4] In December of that year, the group performed at the Rolling Loud Festival in San Bernardino, California.[5] In the spring of 2018, the group headlined their "Off The Xans” (OTX) tour.[2]

In May 2018, Atlantic Records announced that it had signed Shoreline Mafia. At that time, the label also re-released ShoreLineDoThatShit and debuted a new music video for the song, "Musty."[6][7] Later that month, the group embarked on the "Still OTX" tour, which included stops at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami[6][8] and, later, at the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival in New York.[9] In June 2018, Shoreline Mafia was featured on songs on the Ron-Ron and Friends compilation mixtape alongside 03 Greedo, Drakeo the Ruler, and others.[10]

The following month, Rob Vicious released a solo mixtape titled Traplantic. The songs on the album also featured members of Shoreline Mafia, including "Bands" which had verses from everyone.[11][12] In August 2018, the group released a 4-track EP called Party Pack via Atlantic Records.[13] In the fall of 2018, the band went on their "Only The Xclusives" tour throughout the United States.[12][14] The group also performed at the Los Angeles iteration of the Rolling Loud Festival in December 2018.[15] In early April 2020, Fenix Flexin announced that he will be leaving Shoreline Mafia after the release of their upcoming album

Shoreline Mafia has officially announced the release date of their debut studio album, Mafia Bidness.

Mafia Bidness marks the four-piece’s — composed of OhGeesy, Rob Vicious, Fenix Flexin and Master Kato — sixth release under Atlantic Records, including the re-release of their debut mixtape ShorelineDoThatShit. The group also dropped off its lead single “Change Ya Life,” produced by Helluva.

The album will be Shoreline Mafia’s first full-length group release since September 2019’s Party Pack, Vol. 2 EP. The members have been off doing their own things recently, with Vicious dropping his Breakthrough mixtape in May. Mafia Bidness will also be Flexin’s last project with the group, announcing on Twitter that he will be “Moving foward w my individual career Nd visions for myself Nd where I wanna be.”

Ъпсурт е една от най-популярните български хип-хоп групи, създадена в началото на 1996 г. от Ицо Хазарта, Бат Венци, Буч и Шлеви, които са приятели от детска възраст с мениджър Самуил Попов. Групата използва софийски диалект за текстовете на песните си.

Експериментите им в музиката започват като детски игри, в които се записват на касетофон, а после се забавлявали, докато се слушат. Първите си записи правят през януари 1996 г. в студио Субдибула при Васил Николов а.к.а. Теслата. Дотогава, никой от тях не е участвал в други формации. Добрият период за Ъпсурт започва през ноември 1997 година, когато печелят първо място на рап фестивал в Разград в съревнование с 26 групи от цяла България. Скоро след това Теди Кацарова кани Ъпсурт за съвместна песен. Комбинацията е успешна и се появяват не една, а две песни – „Winning Bet“ и „Здраво дръж или пусни“. През 1999 излиза дебютният албум на групата със заглавие "Боздуган". Той е записан и мастериран в StudioMax от Васил Николов а.к.а. Теслата. Ицо Хазарта е автор на текстовете, а музиката и аранжиментите са на Ъпсурт и Теслата, който участва и като бек вокал в парчето „Неделя сутрин (Бира и шкембе)“. Албумът е издаден от Riva sound и благодарение на него, групата придобива огромна популярност.

През октомври 2000 г. след осеммесечно турне из страната групата пуска нов сингъл от втория си албум. Едноименното парче от него се казва „Чекай малко“, а албумът е пуснат на пазара през 2001 година. От тази година Ъпсурт са в състав само от трима души, защото Шлеви напуска групата поради честите си ангажименти в чужбина. Третия албум на групата е озаглавен PopFolk. Хитови парчета от него са „Искам твоето тяло“, „PopFolk“ и „Психопат“.

През 2004 г. групата пуска сингъла „И твойта майка също“ с участието на Белослава, който е част от рекламна кампания целяща да промотира шокиращия мексикански филм, носещ същото заглавие. Четвъртият албум Quattro излиза на пазара в края на юни 2005 година. В него има осем авторски парчета, от които три стават хитове същата година. Това са „3 в 1 (неочаквано добра комбинация)“ с участието на Галя от КариZма и телевизионния журналист Милен Цветков, „Колега“ и „Пияни“ с участието на Я Я - Роянов.

Вдъхновени от живота в България, на 10 април 2006 г. Ицо Хазарта, Бат Венци и Буч пускат първия си и единствен сингъл за годината – „Втора цедка“ с участието на испанската хип-хоп изпълнителка Мала Родригес, като през юли месец излиза и клипа към парчето. Грешно е да се мисли, че сингълът „Колегата отвръща на удара“, качен в Internet на 22 юни 2005 г. е тяхна песен. Песента е на Бате Сашо и е написана с цел да накърни името на групата.

В последните дни на 2006 г. на бял свят се появи и първото DVD-Live на групата. Появата на дългоочаквания продукт съвпада с 10-годишнината на групата. Всички 19 песни, включени в DVD-то, са част от концерт на групата през октомври 2005 г. в Зимния дворец на спорта. В DVD-то могат да бъдат видени и Я-Я Роянов, Goodslav, Лора Караджова и Галя, които участват в някои от песните на Ъпсурт. Вътре могат да бъдат открити още галерия с непубликувани до момента снимки и бекстейдж кадри от турнето, пълните версии на видеоклиповете към „Втора цедка“ и „3 в 1 (неочаквано добра комбинация)“, плакат на групата, както и откровенията на Хазарта, Бат Венци и Буч докато филмираха „мене ме нема в целата схема.....“.

През март 2007 г. излезе и следващият хит на групата Ъпсурт с името „Звездата“ с участието на Лора Караджова. Един месец след премиерата си, сингълът се сдоби с клип.

През 2008 излиза парчето на Ъпсурт съвместно с Дичо наречено „Допинг тест“, а по-късно и негови разновидности.

В края на 2010 г. излиза и песента „Мрън Мрън“, която също е с участието на Лора Караджова.

През 2011 г. излиза песен (без Ицо Хазарта) с рапърите 100 кила и Goodslav „Кради, кради“.

През 2012 г. групата издава песента „Бела жига“. Последната им песен се казва „Ослушай се“ и е от 2013 г. След 4 години застой издават песента „Този танц“ през 2017 г.

The origins of West Coast Hip-Hop trace back to the late 1970s in Los Angeles when Alonzo Williams, a young disc jockey from Compton, California formed a partnership with another DJ named Rodger Clayton from Los Angeles, California who created a promotion company called Unique Dreams that would hire Williams to DJ at local events.[3] The two eventually went their separate ways: Williams started a group called the World Class Wreckin' Cru and became the house DJs at a local nightclub called Eve's After Dark while Clayton launched what would perhaps be the foremost successful mobile DJ crew in the region by the name of Uncle Jamm's Army that would host parties by top DJs for thousands of people at large venues.[3][4] Other smaller DJ and party crews emerged around this time, hoping to establish themselves in the area.[4] Unlike their East Coast counterparts, the Hip-Hop sound emerging from Southern California was more fast-paced and influenced by electronic music.[5] This could be largely credited to the fact that the local West Coast Hip-Hop scene revolved more around DJing than rapping.[5] A localized dance sub-culture later came out of this party scene, which was highlighted on a national scale on such motion pictures as Breakin'.[2] Breakdancing, popping and locking gave the Los Angeles music scene some of its earliest credibility outside the region.[2] Further attention came to the West Coast as Uncle Jamm's Army began inviting such well-known East Coast Hip-Hop acts such as Whodini and Run-DMC to their functions.[2]

West Coast Hip-Hop's position in the mainstream dwindled greatly in the late 1990s and 2000s, with a few notable exceptions such as Dr. Dre's 2001, Xzibit's Restless, Snoop Dogg's No Limit Top Dogg and Tha Last Meal albums. However, the trend soon changed. Although gangsta rap was still popular on the West Coast in the 2000s, the West Coast sound became more designed for nightclubs with the rise of the Bay Area's hyphy scene, featuring flamboyant raps and explicit references to sex and drugs. A key artist in the genre was E-40, who found a substantial audience with his 1995 album In a Major Way; he found even greater success with the song "Tell Me When To Go" in 2006, featuring Oakland rapper Keak da Sneak.

Bay area rapper Too Short, already well known for his collaborations with artists such as Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G, found a new lease on life with the hyphy scene, his 16th studio album Blow the Whistle in 2006 debuting at number 14 on the Billboard 200. The Game also brought attention back to the West Coast with his double platinum album, The Documentary, as did Xzibit's platinum certified Restless album, and gold certified albums Man vs. Machine and Weapons of Mass Destruction. Artists from the 1990s such as Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube and groups such as the Tha Dogg Pound and Westside Connection continued to release albums throughout the 2000s and had success but did not garner the same level of fame as they had experienced in the 1990s. Producer DJ Mustard had pioneered the "ratchet" music movement, a production style that has snowballed into the mainstream.[8][9][10][11] DJ Mustard played a role in bringing West Coast Hip-Hop back to national attention through the 2010s. He gained huge popularity throughout 2011 to 2014, producing a number of popular artists' singles, including Tyga's "Rack City", 2 Chainz's "I'm Different", Young Jeezy's "R.I.P.", B.o.B's "HeadBand", YG's "My Nigga" and "Who Do You Love?", Ty Dolla Sign's Paranoid, Kid Ink's "Show Me" and Trey Songz's "Na Na". Mustard also released his debut mixtape, Ketchup, in 2013, further solidifying his ratchet sound, which follows its G-funk and hyphy predecessors.[12][13]

Other more peripheral acts that achieved moderate, cult following success in the mainstream include Lil B, who built a strong fan base via social media outlets such as Twitter, YouTube and MySpace, and has recorded both solo and with The Pack.

Lil Durk was born on October 19, 1992. Lil Durk had to shoulder much responsibility at a very young age because his father was incarcerated when he was 7 months old.[7] Lil Durk recalled that there were times when he didn't have enough food in his home when he was younger. He started his first break through social media channels like Myspace and YouTube.[8] He became more fond of the idea of being a rapper once his online fan base started to grow more rapidly than expected. Lil Durk took his career more seriously after becoming a father at 17 and dropping out from high school.[9][9] Lil Durk attended a Southside high-school by the name of Paul Robeson High School, ultimately dropping out his senior year to be a part of the gang war in Chicago. Lil Durk joined the Black Disciples after dropping out of high school.[8] Soon after joining he began to get into trouble with the law as well as served a bit of time. In October 2011, he was hit with gun charges, including possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.[10] He later pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of aggravated unauthorized use of a weapon, according to court records.[10] In 2013, Lil Durk was arrested again with a loaded .50 caliber handgun in Englewood on an early Wednesday morning after he threw the gun into his vehicle and locking it afterwards.[11] Chicago Police gained a warrant to search the vehicle, found the loaded handgun, and arrested the rapper without incident

Daniel Hernandez (born May 8, 1996), known professionally as Tekashi 6ix9ine or just 6ix9ine (pronounced "six nine"), is an American rapper, songwriter, and convicted felon. His music has been marked by an aggressive style of rapping, while his controversial public persona is characterized by his distinctive rainbow-colored hair, extensive tattoos, public feuds with fellow celebrities, and legal issues.[5]

6ix9ine became widely known in late 2017 after the release of his debut single, "Gummo", which was a sleeper hit. He subsequently released the mixtape Day69 (2018), which was supported by the singles "Kooda", "Keke", and "Gotti", all of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100.[6] "Fefe", featuring Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz, a single from his debut album Dummy Boy (2018), peaked at number three on the Hot 100.[7][8] Despite negative critical reception, Dummy Boy was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[9]

In 2015, 6ix9ine pled guilty to a felony count of use of a child in a sexual performance and received a four-year probation period and a 1,000-hour community service order. In 2018, he was arrested on racketeering, weapons, and drugs charges. He pled guilty to nine charges including conspiracy to commit murder and armed robbery in February 2019, and was given a two-year prison sentence after testifying for the prosecution. In April 2020, he was granted early release during the COVID-19 pandemic following fears over his vulnerability to the disease due to his asthma condition. He was put on house arrest for the remainder of his term.[10]

After his release from prison, his single "Gooba" debuted and peaked at number three in the US,[11] and "Trollz", his third collaboration with Nicki Minaj, debuted at number one in the country
