The Swampwoofer roster artist Omnist is gearing up to launch his debut Systems EP, showcasing a honed-in production style that boasts a heavy dose of fanged, granular synthesis. Ahead of the EP's release, the Rust Music is excited to premiere the riveting closing track “Time”.

Rocking a steady tempo and a hip-hop gait, “Time” is tuned strictly for shredding speaker cones. Mottled, brackish textures and faint melodic elements set the stage for multiple dives into full-throttle breakdowns of both the half-time and DnB variety. Brutal bass lines switch gears between heavily processed patches, crushing the frequency spectrum with eager bass weight. It's the first glimpse into a four track exploration of bass music's rugged underground profile, and the rest is just around the corner. As as lot of you are aware, George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis Police on memorial day, which has resulted in protesting all across the world. In an effort to support these peaceful protests and our local community we will be donating all funds from this release to Pimento Jamaican Kitchen, located in south Minneapolis. Pimento has been gathering and distributing relief supplies to families in need during the Covid-19 epidemic, and also supporting peaceful protests with materials to stay safe during protesting.
