This is a simple beat made for practicing rhythm and flow on top of a beat. The Hi-Hat cymbal hits on every beat, Kick drum is on the 1, and the Clap is on the 3. So count along with the drums, but never count to 5, just start over.
Each time you count to 4 is one bar. Count out the beat, and once you're locked in, start using syllables of words instead to count on top of the beat, and build from there!
