Golden Axe is a project of producer and DJ, also known as LVRIN, real name - Eugene Lavrinov from the city of Bryansk who previosly released his music in such labels like Pinkman, Crimes Of The Future, Sign Bit Zero, Arma with Maoupa Mazzocchetti and Käften in the name of few. The tracks from 'Gamma' EP were recorded between 2013 and 2021. Inspired by goa trance, tribal and rituals music. The album consists of the sounds of classic Roland drum machines, ethnic percussion, 303 basses and texture pads.

We are welcoming Pose Dia to the R.i.O. label roster and present you the first single „Phoenix“ from her upcoming LP "Simulate Yourself“ which will be released on September 8th. It is is one out of nine otherworldly chanting cold blooded Lieder, manic, longing for the real in the un-real. Wrapped in touching airs, drilling into cold waving Risiko spheres. Poladroïd, originating from Belgium, the featured producer is renowned for blending electro and IDM with a fierce energy, notably showcased on labels like Science Cult and his own Roulette Rekordz. However, Poladoïd offers a departure from his usual style with this release, which feels like a spiritual successor to his previous work "Eurosiberie" on Detriti.

Drenched in dense, filtered atmospheres and infused with nostalgic echoes of a bygone era, 'Danse Macabre' exudes a dark and gritty ambiance, straddling the realms of retro-futurism and melancholic machine melodies. Drawing inspiration from a spectrum as wide as Holderlin's 'Hyperion' and the poetic works of Robert Brasillach and Charles Baudelaire, 'Danse Macabre' showcases Poladroid's versatility in crafting diverse sonic landscapes while maintaining a signature sound.

Originally from Wales in the UK, but currently based in Amsterdam, Hannah Pezzack is a writer, editor and DJ.
She’s spent the last ten years as a music journalist, contributing texts to various festivals, labels and magazines, including The Wire, Dekmantel, Sonic Acts, Resident Advisor, The Quietus and many more.
A lover of esoteric trance, freak folk, pagan choirs, lost mixtapes and weird bangers, she weaves together vocal-led oddities, switching from psychedelia and Krautrock to dub and drone.
With @elinatapio, she hosts ‘Scrying the Landscape’ on Mutant Radio, a mix series exploring deep listening, ecology and mysticism.
