Saint-Etienne-based producer Adrien van de Velde moonlights as A Strange Wedding, the alias for his live sessions and productions. Inspired by trance, EBM, techno and psychedelic rhythms, he creates his own interpretations of these different styles and sounds - his own personal universe as he calls it.

The first Phase Group Mix of 2021 comes to us from Frank D'Arpino, a local of Dusseldorf and resident of the Salon Des Amateurs known for his brilliant radio shows on Dublab.de. Frank has been playing music for people since the early 90s, with an open minded approach that finds harmony and evolution in mixing differing types and speeds of music together, advocating for "belief in unconventional music on the dancefloor". For us he's put together a mind-melting hour of low velocity, space age, tribal electronics and industrial level trip hop. Thanks Frank!
