Indie hip-hop veteran Sole and producer DJ Pain 1 collide on their upcoming project DEATHDRIVE, dropping May 5th.

Their album is being crowd-funded through Indiegogo and to kick off their campaign is their first single "Coal."  Unlike most of sole’s recent and more heavy handed work, this is a personal tale of life, labor, love and alienation over a melodic-but-monstrous Pain 1 beat and catchy Decomposure chorus.

'Death Drive' is a collision of two very distinct worlds; the scorched earth of indie rap legend, Sole, and the concrete jungles of certified platinum producer, DJ Pain1. This song talks about how we, as men, can sometimes be lured into bad situations
by the opposite sex. We sometimes take things too far and wind up destroying our
relationships. Often, we feel regret and wish that we could go back to the way things
were. Long after losing someone we still think about them. It's as though our love
for them never dies. We ask the question, "How can we love someone so much,
yet still be tempted to do wrong by them?"
