DJ W!LD is back, this time on Crosstown offshoot Rebellion with a stomping summer anthem featuring Cari Golden on vocals ‘Shape U’. The original fuses the solid punch of a club weapon with the laidback feel of poolside disco, while the Fur Coat Remake gives the track an entirely different sheen all chugging disco bass-line, dark synths and pitched down vocals. An aptly named WILDER remix and dub from the producer ties up an unmissable EP.

The prolific DJ W!LD is one of France’s longest serving underground house heroes. As part of the Cocoon family and as a Circo Loco resident, DJ W!LD under various aliases has released on labels such as OFF Recordings, Robsoul, and his own imprints Catwash Records and W including debut album ‘Palace’ in 2011. Second album ‘D!RTY’ landed on Cabin Fever last year.

Originally from Dijon, W!LD’s passion for graffiti, street culture, disco, funk and hip hop led him into DJing, taking his name from cult 1983 film Wild Style. Relocating to Paris in 1996, DJ W!LD was instrumental in the French house scene, pouring his energies into the city’s underground club community and later becoming a globally successful artist and fixture at the best international clubs and festivals.

Fur Coat have been blazing a trail since their mighty debut album in 2012 on Crosstown Rebels ‘Mind Over Matter’ also featuring Cari Golden on vocals on the massive hit ‘You And I’. The fast-rising Venezuelan duo have been remixed by TEED and have a single forthcoming on Crosstown.

Up this month on Anabatic Records is a new two-track EP from Worthy called “Flashin”. After a busy summer of touring, Worthy has returned to put together this EP with two of his favorite new songs that he successfully damaged dance floors with all summer long.

Up first is the title track, "Flashin", which works off an old rave stab that builds up and gets the stobes lights flashin' on the dance floor. When it finally builds up to its peak, it drops into some of the lowest 808-bass tones that nearly shake your bass bin’s screws lose. This is one of those songs that can be played out at the perfect peak time or deep into the early morning darkness.

Up on the B-side is "Trinidad", a bit more on the fun and uplifting side. Trinidad works off a steal-drum line and some ghetto beats that drops you into some pulsing funky bass. This one is a mash-up of dub, bass, and classic house, with some modern twists to it that add some proper freshness. This is a great daytime jam but is just as infectious when played nocturnally.

Cryptozoology, the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the Loch Ness monster and the yeti, is something that Henry Saiz finds deeply intriguing. His love of exoticism and strange natural/organic sounds (his own label is called Natura Sonoris - which means Nature of Sound) provide the fuel for this latest stunning Bedrock release. 

“The Cryptozoologist” has an instantly striking, mysterious Andean / Peruvian melodic influence that harks back to cultures shrouded in the mysteries of time, creating a truly haunting track. “Uncharted” is equally hypnotic and enthralling and yet distinctly different. Henry is using a lot of analogue vintage gear to create his music, which is giving him a very distinct sound, a path that will lead to his hotly awaited debut artist album (due out in April 2013) on which he will delve totally into and explore an analogue world (www.wearehenrysaiz.com).

Henry's critically acclaimed “Balance 019” album, released in 2011, was the catalyst for his star potential explode around the globe. His superb collaboration with Guy J (“Meridian”) and his solo track (“La Marea”) for the landmark Bedrock 100 release, were of the highest level of quality and his most recent release, “Our Discovery” (Natura Sonoris), became a huge Ibiza hit this summer, with supporters including John Digweed, Sasha, M.A.N.D.Y., Luciano, Visionquest, Danny Howells and many others. Worthy once again proved her notoriety as a producer with her 2014 debut album, Disbehave. Released off her very own label, Anabatic Records, the critically acclaimed album defies genres and pushes the boundaries of the traditional House sound. She followed the record up with a 2-part remix album, featuring Will Clarke, Walker & Royce, Thugfucker, Stanton Warriors, and Yolanda be Cool among others. She has since released on top labels, such as Defected, Exploited, Insomniac, and Toolroom.

Having played the massive Coachella, Dirtybird Campout, Burning Man, and Ultra festivals, Mz Worthy has the insight to play for her audience every time, cultivating intense positive energy and an energetic dance floor camaraderie. She invites her audience to embrace their true selves, just as she is.

Open to showing and teaching the trans experience, Mz Worthy is a light for other LGBTQ artists. This is only the beginning for her as she reintroduces herself to the scene.
