M2G share feel-good summer starter ‘Luvn’ Me’ with the world.

Peering deeply into their 2021 lens, M2G enter musical proceedings in high-spirits by chiming in with their forthcoming dose of deep soulful house, ‘Luvn Me’ - a feel-good summer starter filled with Balearic nostalgia.

Following up from thier debut release 'BamBu Whip' last May, the fresh-faced house pairing James Granger and Perry Martin illustrate a raw house feeling encapsulated by 90’s infused tones and poolside appeal.

This soul-cleansing serving is a journey of love which brings characterising depth to their distinctive sound, which truly underlines the sentimental sophistication M2G have in abundance.

Detailing the different dynamics of emotional vulnerability, a hazy and more serene presence is captured through the fusion of delicate chord progression and disengaged vocals. Ignited by their avid love for classic house the driving bassline intertwined with clean cut 909 percussion sees the track evolve effortlessly.

Bringing back memories of those warm summer nights, ‘Luvn Me’ is an infectious record that simply needs to be heard.

Luv'n Me

Label boss Demuir returns to the label to showcase 3 original track and 1 DUB to show his artistic range and the exact vibe of the label.  The title track, Stop Your Mind" is not for the predictable.  The track's thicc bass and beats have a rolling bass driven aesthetic from start to finish guided by a vocal instructing your audience to let go and "Stop" overthinking and just breathe.

The next layer jumps over to a stripped down Jackin' groove with more audience interaction that check in on how people are feeling with Demuir's signature drum work and swinging bassline carried by ballroom vocals.  A Dub version of this one is included to spark creativity in your set.

Butter Gruv closing out the EP with a groovy jazz vibe contrasted by sound bwoy vocals riding through and through.  Enjoy this one:

House music royalty comes to the Street Tracks label, and it’s a real scoop to grab the genre bending, Brixton dwelling duo, Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, otherwise known as Basement Jaxx, and the opportunity for a couple of the Street Tracks label regulars to remix ‘Yo Yo’, a cut from their legendary 1999 album ‘Remedy’.

Martin Badder has fast established himself, via releases for Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Circus Recordings and Motive Records, and on his remix of ‘Yo Yo’, a solid swing is firmly locked in with heavyweight beats that MAW would be proud of, deploying some M1 organs and gurgling adidic tones alongside the sultry vocal.   Sheer quality from Badder here!

Two versions are also offered up on the release from hotly tipped Rhys Manning, who has been coming up through the Street Tracks ranks with his  take on modern electronica and breaks.  Manning’s main Remix layers a hypnotising breakbeat loop with the memorable ‘Yo Yo’ vocals, adding touches of off kilter stabs and extra breaks for quite a tribalistic ride.  Not suprisingly, Manning’s ‘Dub Mix’ notches up a few levels, getting deep, dark and twisted, with great results!
