Sneaky Sound System - Can't Help The Way That I Feel (David Penn Remix )

More solid grooves, courtesy of the W&O Street Tracks label, coming from Chris Simon on the “If You Believe” EP.  The Los Angeles based producer has been busy shaping some tasty tracks for his own Pfeiffer label of late, and delivers a trio of strong club cuts on this EP. 

Lead track, “If You Believe”, carries that spongy deep end and rubbery bass prevalent in many of the classic NYC tunes (think Tenaglia, MURK etc.) whist an energetic rhythm and ‘call to arms’ vocals seal off a certified modern day house tune.  A rolling disco vibe awaits on “Time Here”, heavy on the hand claps but still sitting in that deep, dark and delicious Sound Factory school of house music, whilst “Caffeine Blues” wraps up a solid EP with a frenetic and, ever so slightly twisted, assault on the senses, with its jittering synths, mechanical beats and distant voices.
