This is the first track I've uploaded from this album, mainly because all the songs are really long and quite depressing. I hadn't even listened to it since it was recorded. As usual I try to challenge myself each album so I don't get stuck in a rut. For this one, all the tracks were written by starting with the title and then finding lyrics to make it fit.

Sometimes I try and write from a third person perspective.
Its kinda like looking into a window on someones world[or my own]and reporting it back into a song.
Sometimes stuff just happens in life and you ask why.?
things don't always turn out the way you thought,but you gotta roll with it,
this is not a love song{so john lydon once wrote]its more of a song about addiction to someone or something and its hard just to walk away its also about moving on and finding freedom.

This song was initially recorded in typical Reiki Run Rampant fashion with synchronicity of connection while Evelyn was passing through San Jose from northern Washington and recorded in my car in a 15 minute improvised session!

Fortunately Calebass and I had started a rhythm track already for just this sort of chance meeting. 

We are extra blessed that E-Ruizzo was willing to blow some mighty fine xaphoon and give the song that jazzy feel it oh so wanted. 

And extra special thanks, as always, to my main man ill dub for his ill mastering!!! Ill Dub, mastering for hire!

I've been tied up learning how to be a dad for the last few months.   This is the result of too many ideas over too long a period so the kitchen sink was thrown at this track. 

I hear John Barry and Serge Gainsbourg in the approach.   The Easter themed titling was accidental!
