With almost 30 years on stage, Berlin’s electronic mainstay Dapayk Solo is back with a new 8-track album that captures everything fans love about him: Minimal vibes, playful experimentation and that unmistakable “Frickel” edge that has become his trademark.
Dapayk Solo — aka Niklas Worgt — has never been one to sit still. From his early days in the ’90s, founding Mo’s Ferry Productions to starting Sonderling Records, he’s shaping the European Minimal scene, his sound has always lived somewhere between the club and the laboratory. 
This new album is a tribute to that evolution. With eight tracks, Dapayk manages to distill decades of experience into a cohesive narrative. 
The record opens with „Bring It Back“, a track that plays with the ultimate withholding of the usual climax and drop — it’s the first of those kind of tracks that pull you in rather than push. As the album progresses, the grooves get deeper, the arrangements more twisted, and the signature Dapayk “Frickel” textures come to life: quirky percussion, clever micro-edits, rhythmic surprises.
It’s a release that shows an artist who’s not trying to reinvent himself — but refine himself. Three decades of live performances have taught him how to build tension, how to break it, and how to craft a sonic world that feels both timeless and fresh.
