Utilizing her distinctly brooding sound as an unwavering foundation, Los Angeles-based Woven Thorns offers her deeply personal interpretation of the dubstep genre. Her productions & DJ sets distill inspiration from a variety of mediums and moods, seamlessly showcasing different facets of her influences and artistic vulnerability—a balance of organic and electronic, beauty and chaos.

Woven Thorns adopted her alias in 2019, releasing her debut “From Grace” EP the following year, which landed a spot on UKF’s top 20 tracks in 2020 and reached No. 1 on the Juno Download charts. Her 2023 sophomore EP, “Pull Me In”, marked the evolution of her sound—introducing her as a singer-songwriter through its title track. 

The time between EPs has been filled with a steady stream of singles, collaborations, remixes, and bootlegs, spanning the likes of Mesck, Truth, Lorn, and Emptyset. While Woven Thorns emerged from the dubstep underground, her style has since evolved to incorporate the grit and atmospheres of noise, drone, industrial, and experimental genres.

With recognition from DJ Mag, appearances on acclaimed UK radio stations like Rinse FM, Subtle Radio, and Foundation.FM, and performances at renowned venues like Denver’s Meow Wolf, Woven Thorns continues expanding her creative reaches. Her most recent milestone being the 2025 launch of RUINS, a label co-created with Mesck as a subversive, multi-genre space to merge their artistic visions.
