Tom is the son of Medal Of Honor recipient Tom Hudner Jr., and Jessica is the granddaughter of Jesse and Daisy Brown.  Tom Jr. and Jesse were both heroic Korean War Navy pilots, and are the inspiration behind the movie "Devotion."  Tom had this to say about his father and Jesse, "We are humble servants to their legacy."
