Out now on Above & Beyond’s iconic Anjunabeats imprint, ilan Bluestone's new studio album ‘Impulse’ is his most personal outing to date.

At the forefront of progressive and trance for almost a decade, Ilan creates high energy trance with heart and soul. From barnstorming festival favourites ’43’, ‘Spheres’ and ‘Let Me Know’, to modern updates of genre classics like System F’s ‘Out Of The Blue’, Armin van Buuren’s ‘In And Out Of Love’ and OceanLab’s ‘On A Good Day’ and ‘Satellite’, his emotional, song-drive approach to dance music has earned him eleven genre chart #1’s on Beatport and a legion of fans around the world.

His debut artist album, 2018’s ’Scars’, emphatically showcased the Bluestone sound. Broadening his repertoire with elements of dubstep, chillout and funk, ‘Scars’ cemented Ilan’s place as a headline Anjunabeats artist, with DJ support from Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Oliver Heldens. The album has hit over 30 million streams. His tireless work ethic has been rewarded with the opportunity to perform at marquee festivals and venues: Electric Daisy Carnival, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, The Hollywood Palladium, Brooklyn Mirage, Madison Square Garden. Tracks from ‘Impulse’ were tested at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 350 show in Prague, 2019, and streamed to hundreds of thousands of fans around the world.

Songwriting takes centre stage on ‘Impulse’ - love found and lost, attachment and disengagement. A cast of familiar players has joined ilan for his second artist album. 

Giuseppe de Luca returns to the fold with five vocal contributions. The natural peak-time successor to hits like ‘Bigger Than Love’ and ‘Frozen Ground’, ‘Look At Me Now’ is a guitar-driven anthem about loss. ‘Hopeless Dreamer’ provides a dash of 80s synth wave, while album closer ‘Love Is A Drug’ - the album’s buoyant, final crescendo - discusses ideas of rebirth and rejuvenation. “Great track, turn the snare up”, was the feedback provided by founding member of New Order, Joy Division and Monaco, Peter Hook, who Ilan and Giuseppe cover on ‘What Do You Want From Me?’. 

EL Waves returned to the studio to follow up the pair’s 2018 hits ‘Will We Remain?’ and ‘Mama Africa’. Their latest, entitled ‘Tonight’, is a trademark, uplifting Bluestone anthem. ‘Stranger To Your Love’ and ‘Love Not Lust’ - both about Ilan’s relationships - feature Ellen Smith of Shadowlarks, who contributed ‘Rival’ to Ilan’s debut LP.

‘Impulse’ welcomes new collaborators into the fold as well. ‘Stay’ introduces Laura Zay. It’s Ilan’s first drum and bass track inspired by the music of his youth. The haunting voice of Gabriel & Dresden’s ‘Dangerous Power’ and ‘Underwater’ and Pryda ‘Niton (The Reason)’, Jan Burton provides two cuts: ‘Rule The World’ and ‘Underneath Moonlit Canopy’. Gid Sidgwick, another fellow Brit, sings on ‘Paid For Love’, which explores the emotional costs of falling in love.

Completing the album are two tracks with Ilan’s best friend and long-time production partner Maor Levi. ‘Three Kings’, alongside OTIOT is a vicious club instrumental and featured heavily in Ilan’s club shows before lockdown. Finally, ‘Hold On’ pairs Ilan and Maor with double platinum-selling singer-songwriter Alex Clare, whose 2011 hit ’Too Close’ was a top 40 record in both the U.K. and the US.

Multi-instrumentist, songwriter, audio engineer, producer and Sound Designer, Wrechiski has been calling attention of great DJs and producers around the world with his early career in electronic music, producing Progressive House and Trance in a unusual way, with live and radio supports from one of the most important DJ's around the world, like Markus Schulz, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, Bob Sinclair to name a few.

With releases on the most renamed labels in the industry like Anjunabeats, Enhanced and Armada Music to name a few, Wrechiski keeps pushing the barriers of common way of making music with his unusual dirty and groovy style and clean and state of art engineering, making himself one of the most exciting artist to look out for in a near future.

Besides playing classical and electric guitar for over 10 years, he’s graduated in Audio Engineering in IAV (one of the best audio institutes in South America), having been working with sound design and soundtracks for cinema and broadcast and in various studios with big names in Sao Paulo, specially the studio “A Voz Do Brasil”, one of the most important in South America, with your works featured on platforms like ESPN, HBO, Redbull to name a few.

Wrechiski has a parallel project called “Urbandawn”, that focus on Drum n Bass/Bass Music, with tracks released in one of the most important labels of the genre, like Hospital Records, Bad Taste and Fokuz, and tracks constantly supported in shows like Ministry Of Sound and BBC1Xtra, besides producing Hip Hop and EDM with Brazilian and Latin American artists.

Nascido em São Paulo, Brasil, Wrechiski é um apaixonado pela musica e natureza.

 Multi-instrumentista, compositor, engenheiro de áudio, produtor e soundesigner, Wrechiski vem chamando atenção de grandes DJs e produtores de todo o mundo com seu trabalho na música eletrônica, produzindo Progressive House e Trance de uma maneira incomum.

Wrechiski já conta com suporte de um dos maiores djs da cena, entre eles Markus Schulz, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, Rank1, Bob Sinclair dentre muitos outros, alem de ter lançado uma faixa pela grande Armada Music, na compilação do GDJB de Markus Schulz.

Estudado em violão clássico, Wrechiski é músico por mais de 10 anos, e é influenciado principalmente pelo cena sueca de Metal, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop; e seu avô, que é polonês, proporcionou a Felipe uma grande influência de música folclórica européia. Ele é graduado em Engenharia de Áudio no IAV (um dos melhores institutos de áudio na América do Sul), tendo vindo a trabalhar com soundesign e trilhas sonoras para filmes e broadcast e em vários estúdios com grandes nomes em São Paulo, especialmente o estúdio "A Voz Do Brasil", um dos mais importantes do segmento.

Em 2013, Wrechiski alcançou #29 no concorridíssimo Top100 de Trance no Beatport com sua faixa “Aquamarine”, lançada por um dos maiores selos do gênero, Monster Tunes, e segue o segundo semestre de 2013 com mais releases exclusivos pela Monster Tunes e remixes pelos maiores selos do genero, dentre eles Enhanced Recordings, Magic Island de Roger Shah e muitos outros.

Além disso, Felipe Wrechiski tem um projeto chamado "Urbandawn", focado em Drum n Bass, com faixas lançadas em um dos maiores selos do segmento como Hospital Records, Bad Taste e Fokuz; e faixas constantemente suportadas na Ministry Of Sound e BBC 1Xtra e acaba de terminar seu primeiro álbum que está previsto para o segundo semestre de 2013 pelo legendário selo inglês Bad Taste.
