Sonic recollections for orbital periods of 90 minutes

Este álbum se despliega como un tejido sonoro que entrelaza lo espiritual con lo terrenal, invitando al oyente a un recorrido donde cada tema es una estación en un viaje contemplativo. La selección de piezas revela un equilibrio entre introspección, movimiento y pausa, articulando un relato que fluye con naturalidad pero que no teme a la fragmentación, como si el tiempo mismo se doblara en pequeñas escenas musicales.

El comienzo con **“oto no inori”** abre un espacio casi ritual. Su título, que evoca la idea de una “oración del sonido”, se traduce en una atmósfera meditativa y envolvente. Los timbres parecen flotar como mantras electrónicos, creando un paisaje en el que el oyente se sumerge lentamente. Es una introducción que prepara los sentidos, estableciendo un tono espiritual y etéreo.

En **“Residual Steps”** el foco se desplaza hacia el movimiento. Se perciben patrones rítmicos que sugieren pasos que quedan grabados en la memoria, huellas que no se desvanecen del todo. El tema combina repetición y variación, logrando un balance entre lo mecánico y lo humano, como si el avance se diera en círculos que dejan rastros.

La transición a **“Residual Transit”** intensifica esta idea de trayecto. Aquí los sonidos evocan desplazamientos continuos, un viaje en tránsito que nunca termina de llegar a destino. Las capas melódicas se cruzan como caminos superpuestos, reforzando la noción de desplazamiento físico y mental. Es una pieza que transmite movimiento, pero también cierta suspensión, como si viajáramos en un tren interminable.

**“Solitary Sequence”**, en este contexto, adquiere un carácter diferente al de su aparición en el otro álbum. Aquí se percibe como un punto de concentración: un patrón aislado que recuerda al pulso interior de la soledad. Su minimalismo aporta un contraste, un momento de recogimiento frente al dinamismo de los temas anteriores.

Con **“Static Harmony”** se abre un espacio más abstracto. La armonía parece suspendida en el aire, como si estuviera quieta y en movimiento al mismo tiempo. Es una exploración de la tensión entre estabilidad y transformación, un estado de contemplación donde la escucha se convierte en observación del detalle.

Finalmente, **“Velvet Interlude”** cierra el recorrido con suavidad y calidez. Como su nombre indica, funciona como un interludio aterciopelado que deja una sensación de caricia sonora, un epílogo que no busca un final rotundo, sino una disolución suave y elegante.

En conjunto, el álbum es una meditación sobre el viaje y la huella, sobre el tránsito y la pausa. Cada pieza ofrece un matiz distinto, pero juntas construyen un universo donde lo residual se convierte en memoria sonora, y lo estático en movimiento interior. Es una obra que invita a escuchar no solo con el oído, sino con la sensibilidad completa.

These two have been making some real cracking beats of late, and have been well on the radar. Here they plate up a real forward-marching track, 'Tikka', taking you through a cosmic war-zone throughout the whole of this journey. Bio:
Having spent the last 10 years traveling the world in search of perfect surf, big mountains and heavy sound systems, Wreckage (aka Andy Horse) has taken his sound and passion for music to all corners of the globe. 
Growing up listening to mainly hip hop and punk his musical horizons broadened in 2005 when he started to get into Drum & Bass and Dubstep. Whilst pursuing a career as a professional snowboarder a heavy crash in the Whistler Black Park put him out of action for 3 months so instead of wasting this time he brought some decks and learnt to mix. What started as a hobby to pass the time recovering has lead to a lifestyle and career in the music industry. 

In 2008 he played his first set at 'Subculture' in Queenstown NZ. A bar that was known for its unique difference from most bars, their love of bass heavy music with gigs from New Zealand's bass scene including Shapeshifter, Optimus Gryme, Tiki Taane & The Upbeats.
From there the bug to play for the crowds grew, he enjoyed the buzz of live gigs and meeting like minded, passionate people that would give him the confidence to keep taking it up a notch. 

Over the years he scored a "job" as a resident DJ at 'Rockstar Palace' in Mayrhofen, Austria. During this time he started to get into the production side of it starting out on FL studio but later changing to Ableton Live. Recording some of his own samples to keep his sound unique and constantly learning new ways to compose tracks. His travels soon led him to the infamous 'Cafe Chaud' known for its rowdy Sunday nights in Morzine (France) where he would play Drum and Bass and Dubstep sets alongside the likes of Eveson and Bowers. 
He was then signed to Squinty Bass Records in 2013 with his debut EP 'Deep South' and followed that with a second EP 'Phyiscal Realms' released in August 2014 with a release party that would go down in history amongst the local crew at Marisco Club in North Devon, UK. 
 
Exposure soon came gaining radio play on George FM with New Zealand's Bass Music Godfather, Jason Howson. He teamed up with labels Subversion, 4ort Night and Deepnezz Audio increasing his following and getting his name out there. During his 18 months in France he locked down a weekly radio show playing a wide variety of music from reggae to bass music. He also featured multiple times on UK radio station Bassport FM. 

The release of his debut LP, 'Navigate The Mind', reached 
#1 on Juno downloads in 2017 which was then followed up with 'Over Oceans LP' in 2020 both released on Iron Shirt Recordings. 
Now hosting a weekly deep dubs show online for the ISR label he continues to push the raw deep dubstep sound.
Expect big things to come from Wreckage as he stays true to his roots.
