wrgha POWU orchestra is a music group interpreting purely its original music, joining many different genres and styles into a specific sound of its own. The band consists of 12 musicians who want to share the purest and the most natural human emotions such as smile, cry, wrath, happiness, astonishment, disgrace or passion. The audience is always carried, put in a good mood and amused at orchestra's delight in collective music-making. The instrumental lay-out of the band is very original. It is purposely designed so as to imitate the lay-out of the big symphony orchestra but in a miniature form.
The current repertoire of the orchestra includes more than 20 compositions, allowing the band to play comfortably shorter concerts as well as all-night gigs of several sets, with a total length of ca. 150 min. The audience can look forward to ravishing solo improvisations, usage of unusual means of expression and creative arrangements of the compositions.
